Excerpt: Bought this instead of a Blackberry ($100 less), expecting to use it extensively for net access. No joy there! The darn thing turns itself on in the case (snap presses against the function wheel and connects me to satellite service or other high dollar services). One bill and I had to have all of the services except phone disabled (I am stuck with this phone). The only good thing is that the keyboard makes it a little easier to make phone book entries.
Excerpt: It's the greatest phone I've ever had and it's perfect for texting. This phone reminds me of a Blackberry (which is what I was originally going to purchase), but I realized this phone has everything I want in a phone. It does pretty much everything a Blackberry can do. It holds over a 1000 songs AND over 1000 pics.
Excerpt: The Blitz cell phone from Verizon is a great buy. Small keys, get it only if you have small fingers. Huge screen, easy to see. Drops a lot of calls though, and about 1/5 text messages sent out has an error and you have to resend it. Had the phone 4 months now and adore it!
Excerpt: This phone is great! I love the keyboad, and the battery life lasts forever compared to my Krzr that I used to have. It's a little square and bulky, but that is fast made up for by all the features :) The one main problem I have with this phone is that your fingerprints show up on it superfast.
Excerpt: Since this is really what I do most (texting). This phone is perfect for me. If you don't have the data package, you will still get charged per/kb because it automatically updates itself (whenever) and however long this takes, you will be charged per kb. Believe me, I didn't know this and my phone bill shot up from $79 to $500!!!!
Excerpt: Ok so I txt less than the person who set the wrld record but trust me I do text. I do around 2000 text messages per month. This phone has a great keyboard and it is so convenient. Only problem I used to have was my memory card popping out but I discovered how to put it in right, lol! Now that I'm older I switched to a motorola q, and will soon be switching to an eternity with AT&T. It's a good phone for younger people.
Good starter phone with qwetry for blitz cell phone

Excerpt: I liked this phone because of the qwerty keyboard and it was a simple phone, good starter phone. The negatives would be the keys are small, no flash for camera and the keys easily gets scratched off. but other than that its a pretty good phone.
Excerpt: I got my Blitz just 2 months ago.... it is a very nice little phone with camera that flashes,(not very good quality pictures) great speaker phone quality and is pocket compatable.( back pocket size) The service range on this phone is not one of the best I have seen and it also has no video opptions either, so it would be great for someone just looking to make calls. This phone is not for someone looking for new wave technology.
Verizon Wireless Blitz has querty keyboard but drops calls.

Excerpt: I have had my Verizon Wireless Blitz cellphone for almost a year. I do have it on the pay as you go program. I love the fact that it has a full querty keyboard. It is a cute phone with a large screen. I love being able to slide it up to use the keyboard with ease. The blue color of the phone is my favorite color so that was a plus for me. The things that I don't like about the phone is that it drops calls all the time. Almost every time I use it.
The Blitz was build for text messaging and is easy to read.

Excerpt: Being a Verizon wireless customer I went in search of a new phone. I text quite frequently and the QWERTY Keyboard was a must for me. I am very glad I chose the Blitz for the texting ease. It did not take long to get used to this phone. One of the best features is the large display for text and calls. You can see the numbers and letters on this large display screen. One of the downfalls is the size of the keys. They are indeed small.
