Excerpt: I have had this device for about a year and a half, and frankly; I'm on the wall about it. Its decent for an entry level smartphone but there are a lot of flaws that were overlooked in development of this. The processor honestly is too small. Yes its a Qualcomm, but its dog slow and gets flustered easily. As the User above me said, don't download a ton of apps, because It WILL slow down massively.
Pros: Screen, Keyboard, Front facing camera, Great social networking, Beautiful looking SMS threads., Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Yelp already preloaded, Decent camera, Great loudspeaker., Fast Internet Browser
Cons: Fuzzy pictures, Cant delete preloaded apps, Battery life, Slow, Lags A LOT, Lacking Android 4.1, Flimsy., All plastic, Easily Scratched screen, Small Processor
Summary: Overall this is a nice phone, the only drawback is the battery life.
Pros: Decent Camera, good feel, user friendy OS, tons of FREE apps unlike the iphone where you have to pay for the apps, gps and wifi are very good features., Hands free device and 8 GB SD memory card included.
Cons: Poor Battery, you would think with today's technology they would have designed a longer lasting battery., Bad static when using hands free device.
Will miss its great features when I get my next phone
6 March 2012
Summary: I've been using the MyTouch 4G for over a year. This was my first Android phone and was pleasantly surprised when I first got it in March 2011. Prior to this smartphone I was using a Nokia E73 with its Symbian software. I was blown away at how fast this phone was in regards to data speeds and navigating the user interface. The 3.8" screen size was perfect for me and couldn't complain about its bright display.
Pros: Fast data speeds, good amount of RAM (768MB), dedicated camera button, optical trackpad and physical buttons are a nice touch, wi-fi calling, decent screen, single-core 1 GHz snapdragon still holding up in a time of dual and quad core processors
Cons: Heavy, battery cover paint chipping off, microUSB charger on the side of phone is awkward (prefer it to be on top or bottom), camera and speakerphone quality
Excerpt: Nice phone, but the battery life kills it, no usage in an 8 hour day, but battery drains to 30%. Owned 3 HTC phones and al had the same issue BAD Battery life, makes me not recommend any HTC phones to anyone who I know is looking for a new phone, I see a lot of the reviews on here giving the battery 8/10 or better, not sure how they are getting such great battery life.
Pros: Really nice looking phone
Cons: Battery, battery battery, The worst, some kind of HTC thing with all their phones
Excerpt: I owned this phone for about 7 to 8 months before I got a new phone and gave this phone to my brother. It's an alright phone. LG could have done better. To start, this phone wasn't ment to run lots of apps. Runs really slow after 10 to 15 downloaded apps. Battery life is alright but with a lot of apps running all the time it sucks. The camera is a 5mp camera with no flash but does have auto focus. Has a front facing camera but it's only 0.3mp. The screen size is average.
Pros: Good Price, Average screen size
Cons: No LED Flash, Very slow (use few apps as possible), May be too thin (buy a case), Battery life kinda sucks with lots of apps
