Spice Mi-310 - The Mi-300's younger but better Android 2.2 Froyo sibling

11 July 2011
  • Summary: The Spice Mi-310 is the downscaled yet better version of its big brother - Mi-300. Though the siblings are closely matched in terms of looks and features, the addition of Wi-Fi tethering and a superior Android platform make the Mi-310 much more desirable. Its nearest rival - the Micromax Andro A60 falls short with a sluggish resistive touchscreen interface and cheap build quality owing to its cheaper price.
  • Pros: Affordable, Solid build quality, Optical trackpad and Wi-Fi tethering
  • Cons: Ordinary camera, Mediocre loudspeaker

Spice Mi-310: A Powerful, Pocket Friendly Smartphone

27 May 2011
  • Summary: Priced at Rs.7,500 through retail and at a MRP of Rs. 8,999, this is a phone that has excellent value for money and with its Android based operating software it is a strong recommendation for people who are just entering into the Android world. However, even though I strongly recommend this phone, it still should be noted that it is an entry-level smartphone as far as Androids are concerned.

Expert Review

11 April 2011
  • Summary: Spice Mi310 is one the cheapest Android phone at Rs 7,400 with a capacitive touchscreen but has a two megapixel camera. Spice Mi310 is arguably the best Android phone for budget conscious people. It offers the latest Android 2.2 version and comes with a capacitive touchscreen, which is fairly responsive. The build quality of the phone is decent, given the fact that its price is on the lower side among the Android mobiles.
  • Pros: Responsive touch screen, Good build quality
  • Cons: Below averge camera, Memory card not hot swapable
