Summary: Bought the C5503 version which is compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile networks. I do a lot of sailing so I figured this "waterproof" phone would be perfect. First time it got wet (and it was only some spray) water found it's way inside the case. So much for that... Signed up with T-Mobile in one of their 4G LTE areas and the phone only ever got Edge. Swapped SIM cards with my wife's I-phone (who gets 4G with AT&T) and guess what?

Summary: I was really happy with the phone, it was great, but after 3 months of using it the WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity started to fail until it stopped from connecting to all networks. Factory reset or repairing android with PC companion didn't solve the issue. Apparently this is a very common defect. I recommend carefully reading of Sony support forums, just search online for "xperia zr wifi issue" on your favorite search engine before buying this.
Summary: Very nice colour, good features, and great camera. However, after two months it started to shout down and not working again untilI remove the battery and return it back. This happened 4-5 tomrs a day..
Summary: If you are not over-obsessed with Xperia brand, avoid this phone. Not the best of designs, thick and simple. Camera quality is below average, front camera is old age and pathetic. The screen resolution is the only positive I could find in the phone.
Summary: For 1 year I was using this superb handset which also got 4.4 kitkat update from Sony too,but problem comes at 13th month of regular day usage when mine headphone port got problem and not producing sound right on headphones, that's a small problem I thought and went to service center for repair but got shocked from their reply they said that this phone they don't have authorisation to open, so it means it is unrepairable.
