This Sony Xperia U's touchscreen does not respond to touch (which makes answering phone calls impossible), is extremely slow to respond when it does...

Summary: Many, many years ago I owned an Ericson phone, so bad, that company went bankrupted and Sony bought it. Also back then my experience with Sony products wasn't the best (every product like the good old Walkman died shortly after the warranty ran out).
Summary: I purchased this phone when my phone broke and I could not get another one through my carrier. This phone lasted me about 3.5 months before it turned off and would not turn back on. Also when the phone was operating correctly I could not access any internet functions unless it was connect to wifi.
Summary: For the love of all that is holy, don't waste your money on this horrible phone. It glitches after 3 months, constantly goes into airplane mode saying Emergency calls only. It keeps saying service unavailble and then will randomly send out sent messages at 1 in the morning.
Summary: I bought this phone becouse good price and good design. This phone has a nice style, doesn't looks like all another phones and it's fits very well in the pocket. So after using this device for a half year I can say: "Keep away from this phone".
Summary: Worked like charm the first two months and then showed its true colours. Presently, 7 months later: 1. Phone book and dialer takes 30 seconds to load. In a moving vehicle, or when the phone's not in the 'mood', it takes even longer. 2. Camera would hardly respond while on the move.
