  • Pros: Premium UI, Promising camera, Ergonomic design
  • Cons: Underwhelming battery, Low internal storage, Expensive

Review Sony Xperia L Smartphone

Notebookcheck
25 June 2013
  • Summary: Something good and inexpensive. The Sony Xperia L is another smartphone from the Xperia series. Our review shows us that this phone is good bang for buck and you would not go wrong if you go for it.
  • Pros: Good build quality, Good screen, Good camera, Camera with HDR, Decent battery runtimes, High viewing angle stability, Current Android version 4.1, The good display quality despite some unfavorable measurements. The mainstream Xperia L has no significant drawbacks.
  • Cons: Plastic case, No LTE support, glossy surface, LTE support would have been nice, but that is almost too much considering the price point. A bigger battery and better battery management.

Sony Xperia L review

TechRadar UK
3 December 2013
  • Summary: Is Sony's baby Xperia one L of a good phone, or one L of a letdown?
  • Pros: Decent battery, Bright screen, Fantastic camera, Shutter button, We're going to give Sony its due here, it really does seem to know what it is doing when it comes to making a decent camera. It certainly doesn't come with the prowess that the upcoming Sony Xperia Z1 does, but the 8MP sensor on the...
  • Cons: Fiddly keyboard, Outdated design, Poor front camera, Average performance, When it comes to typing messages on the Xperia L, we have to say that the keyboard will probably suffice. If all you're doing is updating Twitter, with its 140 character limit for instance, the keyboard will do just fine. F...
