Sony Xperia L Review: In Depth

Recombu
5 December 2013
  • Conclusion: The Sony Xperia L is an inoffensive, capable Android smartphone. The latest Android experience Sony offers users is the most refined and flexible iteration yet and the company seem to have struck a nice balance between, performance, design and price across all their devices. At the Xperia L’s current price tag of around £220, we’d rather opt for the 4G-toting Sony Xperia SP, but chances are it will rapidly drop down, making this a powerful, affordable mid-ranger with a...

  • Summary: The Sony Xperia L is a good mid-range Android phone with a better than average camera, but nothing else that really makes it stand out from the herd. If you choose this phone, you'll be getting your money's worth and shouldn't have any regrets, but you could instead opt for the superior Sony Xperia T , once a flagship phone, but now available at a similar price to the Xperia L on contract.

Review Sony Xperia L Smartphone

Notebookcheck
25 June 2013
  • Summary: Something good and inexpensive. The Sony Xperia L is another smartphone from the Xperia series. Our review shows us that this phone is good bang for buck and you would not go wrong if you go for it.
  • Pros: Good build quality, Good screen, Good camera, Camera with HDR, Decent battery runtimes, High viewing angle stability, Current Android version 4.1, The good display quality despite some unfavorable measurements. The mainstream Xperia L has no significant drawbacks.
  • Cons: Plastic case, No LTE support, glossy surface, LTE support would have been nice, but that is almost too much considering the price point. A bigger battery and better battery management.

  • Excerpt: Much of the new Xperia line has received rave reviews. This phone is no exception. As Sony’s attempt to enter the budget mid-range market, it features slightly less power than the rest of the series, but a lower price tag as well. George Iosifidus of Digital Life Plus says, “it did really well and impressed me during the days I had it in my hands. If you're looking for a device in this price range then Sony's Xperia L is a keeper.
  • Pros: Sturdy case design, Support for microSD cards, Affordable pricing, Snappy performance for mid-range price
  • Cons: Dull display, Aging hardware, Limited on-device storage space due to pre-installed applications

  • Conclusion: The Sony Xperia L is a desirable mid-range mobile that can handle everyday tasks with ease. Sony may have slashed some of the top features of its more premium handsets, but the Xperia L still packs a good amount in considering the value cost.
  • Pros: Smart design; Feature-packed mid-range camera
  • Cons: Limited internal storage; Average battery life

  • Conclusion: De Sony Xperia L is een goed midrangetoestel.
  • Pros: Goede GPU;, Snel genoeg;, Goedkoop;, Stevig gebouwd.
  • Cons: Camera;, Scherm;

Sony Xperia L im Test

15 July 2013
  • Pros: gute Verarbeitung, ordentliche Performance, einfache Bedienung, erweiterbarer Speicher (Micro-SD), gute Multimedia-Funktionen, starke Akkulaufzeiten, einfach wechselbarer Akku, praxisgerechte Displayauflösung
  • Cons: etwas zu kleiner Speicher, Einschalttaste hat etwas Spiel, kein LTE
