Excerpt: I have had this phone for 6 months. I cannot endorse this phone as a good choice due to some inherent problems with build quality, camera UI, app switching slowness, and inconsistent battery life. Due to my extensive use of this phone, potential buyers may be interested in reading my individualize review of each item below.
Pros: Great Internet, Sound quality for media is good, Text input is decent even for large hands, Build quality is solid, Screen and visual quality are crisp and presentable
Cons: The top cover comes off easily, especially as a pocket phone, The usb port cover simply fell off the phone, Reception is not consistent, Multimedia UI is -ok-, but not expecting much from stock UI, Camera is good, but too many ways to accidentally enter camera mode on accident, Frequent slow-downs when switching/closing apps, Screen is EXTREMELY sensitive, and touch will not work with even the slightest dirt, Voice input button is not well-placed. Hitting the button a...
Excerpt: The first time I made my move into Android, I made Sony smartphones my first choice. I opted to get a Sony Xperia ION. I wanted to use this because it had a 4.55 inch, scratch-resistant touch screen that is able to record and play 1280×720 HD movies! Hardware and Aesthetics: At first glance, I fell in love with the Sony ION because of its minimal look. It comes in just simple black. Unlike the Xperia S, the Sony ION has a metal-brushed finish on its back cover.

Summary: Bought this phone on 1st December, now i feel i wasted money on sony brand which i expected a lot. most of the times my phone would be connected to charger at home or office, very rarely i can use freely due to battery problem. with very limited usage , i wont get it more than 7-8hrs. Soon after 5-10mins of charging it shows 98% from 100% . i have never faced such problem with ithe smartphones.
Summary: Though this is a great phone, however the price is high. Wish Sony can bring the price down to 28k to 30k then this phone will have no competition. This phone have some if the best features just the concern is the price. On top of that firs time Sony made an effort to increase the battery life (1900mAh) that is gud news.
Summary: Pros: 1. Screen is pretty ok compared to Samsung S3. 2. Audio quality is superb. 3. Can connect the phone through the HDMI cable and control the mobile via remote. 4. games can be played and viewed on TV using HDMI cable. 5. Smart connect is a good application. 6. Better not to take this product. Cons: 1. Doesn't recognize most of the wifi hotspots 2. NFC doesn't work. 3. No Wifi Direct 4. When using 3g battery drains a lot 5.
Summary: This phone is slightly overpriced considering its dual core and ordinary gpu of addreno 220. Sony should have added addreno 225 which is far better then 220. I would suggest adding 2k more to your budget and grab S3, which beats this phone in every segment and also because of its brand value and resale value. After one year this phone will still remember just like S2 unlike xperia which will be forgotten just like its predecessors.
Summary: The specifications and the looks are splendid but a price tag of 36k is ridiculous. That makes it more expensive than HTC One X! There are reviews saying quad-core does not matter, but why pay so much for two cores when you get four at the same price?
Schade! Ansonsten tolles Handy!
