Review Sony Xperia E Dual Smartphone

Notebookcheck
19 February 2013
  • Summary: Dual-SIM beginner. One does not need two separate smartphones for private and business use. Sony is offering a cheap dual-SIM smartphone with the Xperia E dual that comes with the Android operation system, a single core chip, a 3.5-inch display and a micro card reader. Are 170 Euros (~$225) worth spending on this?
  • Pros: Fancy design & sturdy built, Sits comfortably in the hand, Card reader supports up to 64GB, Exchangeable battery, Space for two SIM cards, Cheap price, Convincing values of the display, Temperature increase on the outside, Acceptable battery life, The integration of the dual-SIM function, the integrated card reader for media of up to 64 GB and the good results of the display performance tests.
  • Cons: Haptic & stability not convincing, Low display resolution (320 x 480 pixel), Viewing angle stability of the LCD-TFT panel, Slow performance in comparison, Only 512 MB RAM & disc space (2,3 GB net storage), Cannot play high definition (HD) content, Bad mono speaker, Consumption in office use a bit to high

  • Summary: A few months ago, Sony had released the Xperia Tipo Dual in the market, a device that received a fair deal of acclaim and praise. So it only made sense for the company to roll the affordable dual SIM device once again, this time with the Xperia E Dual, an Android device that might be running an older version of Android but comes packed with features. Looks: Different but not exceptional There are two things that we can say about the appearance of the Xperia E Dual.

  • Excerpt: With the market flooded with number of highly cheap Chinese handsets , the big brands like HTC, Sony and Samsung are trying to wow the users with their economic yet feature rich handsets crafted with superb build quality, consistent operating system and a brilliant after sales scheme. One such good example is the Sony E Dual.

  • Pros: Design; Timescape; GPS; Wi-Fi e Bluetooth
  • Cons: Qualità fotocamera; Risoluzione display; No fotocamera frontale; RAM; Potenza processore

  • Cons: Schwache Kamera, Kleiner Touchscreen

Test: Sony Xperia E (Handy)

CHIP Online
28 May 2013
  • Pros: Display reagiert gut, Angenehme Performance, Android 4.1
  • Cons: niedrige Auflösung & geringe Farbanzahl, Knarzendes Gehäuse, Schwache Kamera

Test Sony Xperia E

GSMonline.pl
28 May 2013
  • Pros: stabilny system, obietnica aktualizacji systemu do 4.1 Jelly Bean, obsługa dwóch kart SIM z rozbudowaną funkcjonalnością, dobre wykonanie, słuchawki w komplecie, dobra marka
  • Cons: słaba jakość nagrywania wideo w formacie VGA, kiepska jakość zdjęć, jedna karta aktywna w czasie połączenia, brak lampy błyskowej, Android w wersji 4.0.4
