The Z610i is a clamshell-style handset from Sony Ericsson. Though its stylish design and shiny black finish give the impression of a dedicated multimedia phone, the phone is also equipped with plenty of business features for corporate users. It boasts a 2-megapixel camera which takes videos and stills. The camera provides some customizable settings but isn’t the most powerful one you can find. There is also an MP3 player included and you can take advantage of the 64 MB hard drive or get a new memory card for music storage. The Z610i has a decent array of corporate apps including email for POP3, IMAP, Push email accounts, a WAP web browser and also an RSS reader. The phone also includes 3G support, so users can share videos and browse the internet.

The Z610i looks and feels very good but does it perform well enough to back up its beauty? You decide. The onboard camera is certainly not a revolution. Photos and clips look a little less than average as there’s no flash and produces blurry images. Also, the integrated memory is a mere 64 MB and serious users will have to invest in a memory card, so that’s something to consider. Otherwise, the phone is a flawless worker delivering on its promises in most areas. Calls are of good quality and reception is handled pretty well. Messaging and email are well above average but battery life is very short and will need to be recharged frequently. To conclude, the Z610i is one of the most attractive phones out there and if you’re looking for a trendy little handset packed with enough features to keep you busy, go out and buy this one.
