Excerpt: I have had this phone for 2 years. Overall, I think it is a good phone. The main problem is that, like most companies, you have to have a contract. I would like to own a newer version of this phone, but cant, without extending contract. This is an easy to use item. It is user friendly and fairly easy to set up and use. The camera is not the best and could be upgraded. If dropped, as in normal use, the screen will be ruined.
Excerpt: For the most part I love my phone. I made my own ring-tone, take pictures and remind myself of upcoming appointments. Lately it's not keeping a charge and it's only 1 1/2 old but I don't want to replace it, I will wait til it dies! I absolutely love the light effects when it rings, I guess i'm east to please.
Excerpt: This phone is very durable and easy to use. The only thing that I dont like is the push to talk button is on the outside and I hit it all the time. The battery last well until you start taking a lot of pics. I think the pic quality could be a little bit better. It has many features and ringtones. I've had mine over a year and I work construction and it's still working great.
Excerpt: This phone has been extramely reliable. I have been eligible to upgrade for almost a year but still hanging on to this one cause I dont see anything better at this time. I don't do the email or internet stuff, so the battery life is great for me, it lasts a couple of days at least. Its also small enough to carry in my pocket (I hate cell phones on the belt).
Excerpt: When I was first reviewing the Sony Ericsson Z520a Cell Phone Cell Phone to decide if I wanted to buy it, I found quite a few reviews that said the camera quality wasn't top notch or that it wasn't texting friendly. However, I just wanted a cell phone that would make phone calls, nothing too fancy. So I choose this one and have been very happy with it - it makes phone calls, clear quality and that is all I needed it to do.
Summary: Bought this phone about 4 months ago when my old phone died at the hands of my toddler. It is easy to use, simple, and has pretty good audio quality compared to other phones I've owned. I do not use the internet with my cell phones, so I cannot speak to any features related to that. I found only about 2-3 ringtones that it comes with agreeable. It has an awfully loud alert when the battery is dying that cannot be changed or muted.
Summary: Note: this item was listed as Sony Ericsson Z520a (AT&T) when I bought it on eBay, but the phone's menu/status screen says z525. I went from the Motorola RAZR V3 (screen died), to my old reliable 2005 model Sony Ericsson z500a, to this one. This phone's call quality is good. This phone has additional features, like push-to-talk, mobile e-mail, camera, Bluetooth, and useful apps. The screen on this phone is colorful and easy to see, even in sunlight.
Summary: This is a great little phone! I LOVE the "frames" you can choose from to take pictures in...especially the one with the hands hanging on the jail cell bars! Then I love the voice dial feature, makes dialing while driving so easy and with a blue tooth ear piece you can drive more safely while using the phone as you drive. Also, the lights on the phone move in various patterns and you can select one of the patterns to associate with everyone in your phone book.
Summary: The phone is in great physical conditon, as described. The battery lasts well for resonable, average talk time. However, the phone arrived with its memory full of the previous owners pictures and contacts. Not only is this a breach for someone from Illinois' privacy, but also a hassle for me to erase all that data. To use the master reset on the phone, a pass key was required - which the seller could not produce.
Summary: Like: The phone features cool, blue light-up patterns when ringing. It is a slim phone even though it is a flip. Easily personalized by popping off the cover and changing to whatever pattern or color you desire, so easy you can actually change it to match your outfits! Dislike: The camera feature is nice, although there is no flash. BUT, the camera button on the side of the phone, is so sensitive..
