Summary: I got this for my mom, who needed a new phone, as her most recent phone was a touchscreen that was just too complex for her. She wanted a simple flip phone and not have to pay too much money for it. (She's still under AT&T's contract and couldn't just get a free or cheap phone without signing for a new 2-year contract.) I think she's happy with the phone, as I haven't heard any complaints from her, other than that there's no caller ID on the display.
Summary: I love a basic phone. I'm not into the whole "tech" frenzy everybody else seems to be whipped up into. Which is fine. It's just not me. I have very few wants from a phone. While this is a good phone and is very (and I mean VERY) basic, it's amazingly too basic for me. From this purchase I learned that not all phones, even brand new ones, have T9 texting capabilities. Why the hell not?!?! That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard of.
Summary: The Sony Ericsson z300a is a great little phone. I bought it as a replacement to serve out the remaining time on my 2 year contract. I like that the volume in the earpiece is loud, the reception is pretty good, texting is easy, and it's small - I carry it in my pocket. As I said, it's basic - no camera, no speakerphone, no voice activation, no software for computer interaction. Other than that, it's fine.
Summary: I have a cell phone only because I've been stranded in a dead car on the side of the road too many times. I just want a phone that will let me call the emergency services if I need them, or to let my family know I'm not dead, just stranded. :) I really like this little phone because it's small and fits in the "watch" pocket of my jeans. It has a few more features than I will ever use, for example...
Summary: Well, my boyfriend used this phone for just over a year. I had played with it, and it was nice, has some personalization stuff you could do. Like, the "skins", and stuff....Although, when I would talk to him and he was using the z300a, there always some weird noises, that would cut him out completely, and everytime it happened, it was only on my end. I know it wasn't the carrier, because we now use different phones, and it doesn't happen anymore..
Summary: I think it is a good phone! Easy to use, small, and it's pretty cheap. It does what you need it to do, call, and talk...that's all you really need=) It does not have an antenna so you don't have to worry about breaking it and it still has good reception. I would recommend it, one of my friends has one and they like it too....two thumbs up!!!!!
Excerpt: I have had this phone for about 3 months. It is a nice phone although it scratches so easily i have like 20 scraches on. I only paid $35.00 for it so you shouldn't expect a great deal out of it.
