Excerpt: I guess X8 is pretty good now with the rom i used. Stock rom not interesting at all. By the way, it still the best for me cause this is my first android phone I have. I had many experience with this phone and I discover all its function.
Excerpt: I've had this phone since December 2011. After the first 6 months it started to deteriorate ,apps would delete themselves and the phone really wasn't good value for money. If someone is attracted to this phone because of the price i'd say you're better off investing in something cheaper
The X8 is a good alrounder, but if you want something faster its not for you.

Excerpt: I have always been a fan of Sony Ericsson phones, so when time came to upgrade last year it was only natural for me to choose another Sony Ericsson. What I really wanted was a Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro, what I ended up with was the X8 as I was informed that 3, my contract provider no longer did...
Summary: I had one of these last year, it was, let's just say, cheap for a reason. It was slow, stuck on an old version of Android, and the Sony Ericsson software just made the experience even worse. Typing on it was difficult due to the small screen and it just wasn't good at much.
Excerpt: It’s a cheap-looking phone when new, although looks pretty enough from a distance, but I can see it looking pretty shoddy as the months roll on. Maybe this is why Ericsson decided to include three extra replacement backing covers?
Pros: The YouTube app Dedicated camera button FM Radio Nippy Wi-Fi connection
Cons: Shoddy manufacture, feels as if it is falling apart! Slow OS Only a handful of decent applications bundled Poor sound Low-res, unresponsive touch screen
Great phone. Sony ericsson are a great phone company. experia needs few minor changes

Excerpt: Iv had my experia since october last year and already iv had to claim a new one on my contract as its simply started turning itself off, you know like your man does when you talk about anything but his dogs or intimacy. Anyway, when I got my new one from 02 it seemed slightly updated.
A decent enough phone, but it seriously needs a better battery!

Excerpt: Ever since I got my first phone on contract a good few years ago, I have been impressed with Sony Ericsson phones, and so I have always stuck with them each time I am eligible for a free upgrade.
Summary: I bought one of these from another source a few days ago (so what am I writing a review on Amazon for)? Just to make others aware. Neat little phone, but.................... The battery, for starters, is useless - I have to charge it everyday.
Summary: This is an entry level Android handset - originally the X8 shipped with the rather clunky Android 1.6, but is now available with 2.1. Older phones will now automatically upgrade themselves to 2.1 once you have installed Sony Ericsson's PC Companion software on your home PC or laptop.
Excerpt: With my contract having run out a few months ago, I had been looking for a new contract and hence a new phone, and was able to pick this phone up free with a £15 a month contract. Well enough about me, and more about the phone. In terms of size, this is where this phone comes into the market.
