Summary: "i bought this phone 3 weeks ago and i can say that X10 a superb piece of creation by SE on the whole. yet, again xperia x10 has it +ves and -ves as well, but this time manufacturer has taken more care while making out x10 keeping in view the hardware limitations and sluggish firmware in X2.
Summary: "Had this phone now for two months. At first I thought its abit bulky but when comparing with the i phone there isn\'t much differance. The only grip I have is the volume. It really is poor. I have it turned up on full all the time. Ive even amplified my tunes to get abit more volume. But overall its great and I got it for £21 a month on 3 with 700 mix and match, unlimited internet..Bargain.
Summary: "Many have commented on the battery life being poor. This happened to me until someone suggested the the phone pouch reinforced with a metal strip and magnetic clip was the problem. Got rid of it and battery now no problem.
Summary: "this phone is really good and we like a sharing everything but when a X-peria10 update a android 2.1 version then X-peria10 market value is go on graph highly so it's my humble request please update a android version 2.1. and also change a musics system 3.5 to replace a 5.1 musics systeam.
Summary: "i can read from all the other reviewers that no one has commented on the X10 with 2.1 installed. From my own experience Eclair has turned this phone into an amazing piece of technology. the battery life has improved dramatically, the phone feels more responsive. The built-quality of the phone is satisfactory and reassuring in the hands. the PC companion software that comes with the phone actually works... unlike the Kies of Samsung.
Summary: "For those saying poor battery life. I have used this phone and now plan get one. The battery life I found out was affected by the leather pouch which was reinforced with metal and had a magnetic clasp. These affected the aerial and so the battery died quickly. Got rid of pouch battery now fine.
Summary: In a case of things that get better with age, the SonyEricsson Xperia X10 is just that. I bought one of these when it first came out and it was a dog. Fantastic hardware crippled by horrible software. I sold my first one just as the first android update was coming out. It got a bit better, but was still not the champion that it should be.
