Very poor performance
11 February 2013
Summary: I bought this phone because I wanted to have an android phone besides my iPhone; after a year of using it, I can easily see why it's cheap. Performance is horrible, it loses the network and drops calls so often, while the iphone would show 3 or 4 bars of network coverage! Touch screen has poor sensitivity, and cloth, my ear, even the inside of my pockets are perceived by the phone as fingers sliding over the screen, and don't get me started on the browsing experience and...
Summary: After 60 days of usage the device start to getting heat and the Ops system becoming crazy. I've already updated the Ops system several times, but the bug did not fix. My bad luck - I bought an Iternational model w/o warranty - guess what? Even the the device showing a serious factory damage (look at youtube several video about this problem!) Sony Brazil is refusing to exchange to new phone. I've heard (and it's true!
Summary: This is the fastest, smallest Android around, So I bought it. I got it right away. I turned it on it acted in a strange way. Screens were popping on the their own, without any touch input, totally useless. I called Sony support they told me to upgrade the software that I did, which made no difference. I sent it back and I got my full refund. At the end I spend half a day trying to fix it, plus I lost $15 for S&H and insurance for this defective product.
Excerpt: i bought this phone 2 months before........and my phone hangs very often even after servicing in sony authorized service centre ..........:(i am not happy with this phone :(...........................
Summary: I didn't do much research before buying this phone and now I'm paying for it. After buying this phone, I found out that the phone has a manufacturing defect that can't be fixed. The phone gets hot after minor use, which automatically activates its capacitive touch buttons. This in turn leads to the "menu and screen dance," where different menus and screens keep popping up automatically. Check out the attached video to see this problem in action.
Summary: Don't buy this phone. I bought this phone to this seller two months ago, now this phone have problems with the touch screen and always is vibrating, can not use the menus because always come back to the home screen. there is a video where you can see this problem and other users with the same problem: [...] I don't know if can apply the guarantee with this seller.
Summary: the phone as it came out of the box did excite me as ive always loved these phones . ten mins after switching it on it just went weird , on off on off constant, tried turning it off and leaving it but did the same once i tried it again , sent back and refunded
Summary: The phone arrived with German instructions (or Danish maybe?). Anyways, I turn on the phone and it would not stop vibrating as if I am pressing one of these touchscreen buttons.... If I try to go to menu and setting to change the language (the phone itself was in German I think) it disappears immediately. Removing the battery didn't help and since it is a new phone why would I go to a shop or send back to get it fixed? I decided I will return it and get some other phone.
