Sleek and stylish

Roxane, Amazon
24 March 2013
  • Summary: I love the phone. IT's so elegant, very light, it has just 5 screens, which is a little bit disappointing (as I had 7 on HTC). It crashes more or less once a month, but it requires just switching off and on again.

Lennox Phillip, Amazon

  • Summary: Delivery very good indeed from the supplier. The currier lost the first phone - they attempted delivery, they (the currier) decided I was not in (actually I was) and brought the phone back to the depot.

Smart but no phone

Amazon Customer "Loose Chippings", Amazon
5 January 2013
  • Summary: My first smartphone! I've had a number of Sony mobiles and always been happy with them; I chose them mainly for the quality of the camera. The display is good; although resetting the brightness once you've dimmed the screen can be a challenge.

A Good Phone- But not almost £300 worth (as of Dec 2012)

Harlequin, Amazon
23 December 2012
  • Summary: I bought this phone at phones 4 u for £160, and it was a very good deal. However, it was a little slower than I expected at first on android 2.3 (gingerbread i think). I upgraded it to Android 4 ICS and this was a major problem. DO NOT UPGRADE TO ICS UNLESS NECESSARY.

Good while it lasted

Squib, Amazon
18 December 2012
  • Summary: The Xperia arc s is a cheap phone that can really do a lot. It's quite powerful, runs apps and internet smoothly, has an 8MP camera, the battery life is good for a smartphone (sometimes 2 days) and the screen image is very crisp.

  • Summary: I got the phone in January and to be honest I have mixed emotions, I get really angry at the phone because it is way too laggy but it compensates for this by having truly outstanding sound quality.
  • Pros: Great design, great sound quality, great camera quality, I love the exploded overview and the (if you increase the brightness level) very bright screen.
  • Cons: Way too laggy (not enough RAM), hate the fact that there aren't settings in the notification bar (like there are with Samsungs) ,I don't really like the music player app because you cannot swipe the screen across to change song, you cannot change the volume from the screen and there isn't a way t...
