Summary: Phone's great, it is very fast, slim and stylish. Phone is very well done, I liked the shell and a set of programs, the new processor works fine camera is turned on for 3 seconds, the display is colorful, not very convenient volume button and camera button, but it's the little things better than the phone)))
Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S: does the job but not perfect
10 August 2013
Summary: I got my sony Ericsson xperia arc s in april 2012 and to begin with it was amazing. It was the first time I had a phone worth more than £150 so as you can imagine, I was amazed by all the things my new phone could do. However....The first thing that went wrong with this phone was the charger port. In october 2012 it broke and could no longer charge. I sent it back to sony and was charged £60 to get it fixed! Not what I expected after buying a phone worth over £300!
Summary: My time first started when I got my Arc S on contract from December 2011, Before I had the Sony Ericsson Xperia and I am someone who enjoys the new excitement of a phone and learning the new phone features but was disappointed that it was almost exactly the same as my old phone. The advantages that I personally love about the Arc S: its a thin phone and does fit nicely in your jeans pocket which I find super handy, it has easy view of what you choose to show on the home...
Pros: Good Battery. Thin and a good size phone. Camera. Choice of layout on homescreen
Cons: Small phone memory. Apps stay open in background unless you get a app to close them.
Summary: Positives: * Responsive * Light, good fit on hand * Good looking phone Things that can get better: * Battery life Bonus: * Getting Ice Cream Sandwich update soon. Sony on it already. :) Overall, the battery life should not prevent anyone from getting this phone. Also, got the phone within one day of ordering it (within 24 hours). Good job Flipkart!
Summary: My first smartphone! I've had a number of Sony mobiles and always been happy with them; I chose them mainly for the quality of the camera. The display is good; although resetting the brightness once you've dimmed the screen can be a challenge. The default settings caught me out as it synchronised all my PC and online contacts producing numerous duplications; as it turned out, I had a number of opportunities to start from scratch.
Summary: I got the phone in January and to be honest I have mixed emotions, I get really angry at the phone because it is way too laggy but it compensates for this by having truly outstanding sound quality. I know that the phone is quite cheap because that RAM is very expensive and that if the phone had as much RAM as the LG Optimus Nexus (2GB) or at least the Samsung Galaxy SIII (1GB) then it would be at least £100 more expensive.
Pros: Great design, great sound quality, great camera quality, I love the exploded overview and the (if you increase the brightness level) very bright screen.
Cons: Way too laggy (not enough RAM), hate the fact that there aren't settings in the notification bar (like there are with Samsungs) ,I don't really like the music player app because you cannot swipe the screen across to change song, you cannot change the volume from the screen and there isn't a way to check how many songs ( if you want to check then you need to download Realplayer app WHICH IS 30MB).Also the battery life is quite short if you use is frequently.
