Summary: It came with a significant defect though not caused by seller. But, the seller did in fact facilitate the return process completely which was a great comfort. The purchase may have been a defect, but the return was handled extremely well!! This is how returns should all be handled...quickly, smoothly and efficiently!

Summary: I had this phone for several months and didn't regret selling it last year. Though I had it last year, I felt that the technology was way behind its time. The screen is too small and the pixels are too large (280X320???). No touch screen, the buttons are way too small for me even though I have small hands and fingers. It was difficult to just dial the numbers. I don't know about you all; $300 is a lot of cash to put out for a cell phone.
Summary: I bought it from J&R. I asked for a U.S. version but they sent me a French version. So, no 3G. It was very easy to be aware that it was a wrong version because all on the box was written in french, and also they put inside the box (by the way, the box was ripped)an adaptor plug to connect the french charger. Very bad!!
Summary: I have been a Sony Ericsson cell phones fan since 2004. Last year (December 2009) after much thought I decided to buy this model being this the top of the line of the "old school" SE phones and by "old school" I am talking about the W,K,C and such series and not the newest models like the AINO or SATIO. Anyway I ended up giving this phone to my sister and I bought instead a iPhone 3GS much to my dismay. Why? Because the [...
Summary: My w995 lasted for 6 years and even now it still works perfectly except the slide mechanism has broken( after 6yrs of being dropped/ travelling in humid countries/being attacked by my parrots and one time being driven over) hence looking for a replacement model. The make/model itself is compact, durable, reliable and surprisingly versatile with a good camera and sensible button keypad allowing me to knock out a 10 second text without needing to even look at the screen,...
Summary: Within 3 weeks of receiving the phone the navigation key stopped working downwards and the number 2 and 3 keys wouldn't work. Initially the Sony help chat suggested a software update, which seems to be their answer to every query, but it was obviously a hardware issue, so I had to send it off for repair. Disappointing, and i hope I don't have further problems once I get it back.
