Summary: "Nice design, Average 2mp camera, quite loud walkman. I got the phone last Chrismas, screen scratches far to easily, then in about 3 months something happend. I couldn't slide it down! I had a look and there was a screw came loose! And when i tried to shut it the front half of the phone went up in a diaginal line. So i got it replaced. With the same phone. I really shouldn't of done that! about 2 months later the same thing happend!
Summary: "Wife has one, overall shes was quite happy with it until the slider jammed , problem tracked down to a loose screw which can be acessed via the battery bay with the slide in the open position. re tightened screw and checked opposite side also loose. occasional powering down a typical Ericsson problem as had previous model with same type of fault.
Summary: "I originally got this phone in September and I was really pleased but it has a lot of annoying things. After about a week the speaker that you hear calls by next to your ear broke so I got a new one. After a few months this one stopped sliding I took the back off and a screw was loose I screwed it back in and it happened again on the opposite side GRRRR!!! Also the screen is really prone to scratches and grease from your fingers.
Summary: "I have found that this phone is very unreliable as it constantly turns itself off and cuts out during phone calls. Also, some of my friends have this phone and have had the same problem. As we speak my phone is in repair for the third time in less than two months.
Excerpt: I've always liked Sony Erriccsons, the way their menu's are set up, their messaging style, their features etc. The W910i was great when i first got it but this was short lived. I guess it depends on how much you use the phone. I rarely call people, when i do, the battery will rapidly decrease, i've also found if there is bad reception the battery goes down quicker.
Pros: - menus, - features, - track ID
Cons: - the phone turns itself off daily, - it will not send my messages, sometimes for 12hrs at a time, - reception hardly ever shows up, - buttons have worn out, - if using the music player the whole phone runs very slow
Excerpt: well i was VERY excited with this phone when I first got it all the new features compared to my old W850. but the excitement wore off very quickly. the calling stopped working after a few weeks. i got another one. same problem. i got a 3rd. this one has other problems the speaker that you hold up to your ear is un-hearable and i have to use the main speaker to hear and even this isnt loud enough when you're in public.
Pros: cool features, good video quality, nice walkman player, good design
Cons: slider cheaply made, speaker troubles, calling problems (dropping calls), signal issues when compared to my bros nokia on the same network next to each other, turns off randomly
Excerpt: I hv a w910 bt im nt saisfied with it. very krappy camera and the sound is the same as in k850. better choose a k850 whose camera is better. The sound is too low at highest compared to others...I was very disappointed as i ws very impatiently waiting for one...Nxt time i'll choose a nokia...hope it helped...
Excerpt: The Sony Ericsson W910i is a mid-range phone. In my opinion the most striking feature about it is the 3G capability in such a slim phone. Most phones with 3G technology are very light. The Sony Ericsson W910i is also very light. The first time I got it I totally forgot I had it in my pocket as I was used to a more bulky phone. In terms of function, I would award the W910i a 6 out of 10.
Excerpt: This mobile doesn’t have an auto focus, flash, and camera’s cover like any other W series. So the camera isn’t well protected, and for me, it’s not nice cause it can give a direct effect to the pictures. The picture’s quality is good, with good focus also.. but it’s bad if there isn’t too much light. Video recorder is quite good, but regarding the quality, it will be bad too if again, there isn’t too much light.
