See lessWe are left with positive feelings about the Sony Ericsson W890. It is a nice, light and slim Walkman, which would satisfy even the most capricious music fans. In addition, thanks to the high-speed UMTS you can check your mail or your RSS feeds, which interest you. Moreover, the nice appearance, in combination with the quality sound, will compensate for the lack of autofocus and flash. If you are looking for a beautiful music phone, W890 is a very good choice. However,... Read more
Overall, Sony Ericsson’s latest Walkman phone is not groundbreaking but is still a decent one with all the important features. The call quality was superb, the 3.2-megapixel camera was decent, and the The Walkman interface is great for listening to music and for managing songs, pictures and videos. However, it was very difficult to type messages because of the small keys and the 3.2-megapixel camera lacks advanced features such as autofoucs and macro mode. All in... Read more
Just Drag and Drop Audio Tracks With Sleek Multimedia Phone Nokia N78 $520 An understated candy bar that geotags 3.2-MP pics, feasts on Wi-Fi and 3G, and captures 640 x 280-pixel video—for a price. Motorola Rokr E8 $289 We'd take the rich sound and up to 6 GB of storage if not for those fussy controls. LG Vu $330 Such a responsive touchscreen deserves better than a glacial processor and crummy optics. We loved this haute handset's precursor, the equally slim (0.4-inch)... Read more

Sony Ericsson has improved an already excellent handset. It really is hard to fault the W890i, from its über-slim design, cracking internet capabilities, Google Maps and of course the built-in music player. A truly accomplished handset. Read more
i'm sure its a great mp3 player and quite a good camera. What it isn't is a good phone. Signal strength is dreadful compared to my previous K610 - wanders and cuts out. Menus are sluggish and frustrating to navigate. Am sending it back to Orange. Read more
I've had this phone for the last 7 months now and I have to say it is the worst phone I've ever had. Its slow, crashes regularly or freezes and now the rear speaker has stopped working so I can no longer here the phone ring or when the text alerts go off. It’s rubbish!! The older Sony was much better. Even thought the older phone has less mega pixels it had better functions and a light. Read more
Oh dear Sony Ericsson, what has happened to you! I had a lot of faith in their mobile phone products until I bought this model. It's caused me no end of hassle! The phone freezes up mid-conversation, the speaker has now broken which means I don't know when my phone is ringing, the phone shuts itself off during mid-conversation even though the battery is fully charged, and there is often a loud, crackling noise on the line. I am with O2 but I know of 2 close friends and 2... Read more
Good phone with decent media player! Keys are still too small for big hands especially for males! Too bad the camera doesn't have AF or flash since it's otherwise useless! Also, the 3.5mm port is missing for a Walkman but is typical for almost all SE phones! To STUFF.TV..... Do NOT rate 4 or 5 stars to ANY phones that do NOT have a 3.5mm port (if media player phone) or AF/flash is missing! Too biased on scoring high for these phones! Read more
