  • Excerpt: I've owned Motorola, Nokia, Samsung but this phone offers the longest lasting battery. The thing that turns me off is its features and processing time. Overall, it's a decent phone.

Such a good Walkman Phone

  • Excerpt: Another incredible phone by Sony Ericsson. Media related features are state of the art at the moment; headphones are actually far better than iPod ones. The camera is good indeed, considering that this is not meant to be a photo related phone.

  • Excerpt: The Sony Ericsson W850i was the first contract phone I owned. At the time it was the a top-of-the-range handset and impressed me from day one, standing head and shoulders above the Nokia's I had owned in the past.
  • Pros: Lots and lots and lots and lots .  .  .  .  .  .  . of features !  Camera/mp3/phone all in one .
  • Cons: For purists, let a phone be a phone .  .  .  .  . please !

  • Excerpt: This is a great little phone for all you people out there that are not phone snobs. When I buy a phone I look for three things: Its not to big (I have little hands) it has a large memory capacity and ease of downloading.
  • Pros: All your files and photos and mobile technology all in one place
  • Cons: None

Still holds up well against mobile phones made 4 years later.

  • Excerpt: This phone was the first contract phone I owned. I got it about 3 or 4 years ago and when I first picked it up out of the box it felt bulky and very complicated to operate. I never look at the instruction manual, instead I adopt the traditional British way of working gadgets out and just use it!

  • Excerpt: I had the W850i on contract for 18 months and was impressed to discover that it was the first Sony Ericsson (and last) that I would own without ever having to claim on the warranty. Magic!
