Summary: I bought 2 of these, one for myself, one for my husband. I received them in August or so, and now I am buying new phones already because these 2 are dead. It started off well, they look great, good reception, worked well on the T mobile network in the US.
This phone was very good for 2006 but technology has changed.

Excerpt: This was the best phone that I had ever owned, and I am consider buying it again. I've seen you can buy it for 30-50 pounds. I find this quiet expensive considering this phone was around £100 when I bought it in 2006 if not under. It was an easy phone to type on, and was very good for music.
Pros: "Good for music", "Does what it says on the tin"
Excerpt: I originally had the Sony Ericsson K510i and after a few years I was able to upgrade to this phone. I was still only in Secondary School and these phones were very cool. At the point where I owned this phone I could honestly say I had the best phone out of all my contemporaries until the White...
Summary: this product was working okay for the first month i had it then it started to shut off on its own when i was in the middle of phone calls or when i placed it down. I bought it to last me while i was waiting to get a new phone.
Excerpt: I upgraded to this Sony Ericsson W810i thinking that it would be just as fantastic as my previous Sony Ericsson. Oh how I was wrong! I have never had such a poor phone. The screen would turn itself off and on whenever it chose to and it would regularly turn itself off whilst i was in the middle of a...
Summary: I wish Sony would make their phones so that you can download songs on i Tunes from an i Mac. It is so much of a pain using Bluetooth as each song has to be downloaded individually and if you use a card reader and export your songs and pics the phone will not open them as it will only open P.C.
Summary: I require a quadband phone in order to take travelling with me and so having purchased the Sony Ericsson W810i on the basis that it has been advertised as a quadband phone I have been disapointed to discover that it is in actual fact a triband phone.
Summary: I had so many gripes with this phone it finally took it back (even after the shop swapped it for a second new one), 1. Does NOT play standard Windows music files (WMA) it took me over 8 hours to get any music on it (I'm an MCSE) and had to resort to burning music to CD, copying back to the PC,...
Summary: It's a nice phone and camera, but not a very good MP3 player. The playback suffers from hiss and distortion, which is most noticable on the headphones during quiet parts of a song and at low volume. This is surprising for a phone branded as a 'Walkman'.
