The W810i is Sony Ericsson's latest addition to its line of Walkman phones. As with the rest of the series, the W810i also looks and feels bulky but it packs some neat features in return. Along with basic features such as organizing tools, voice dialing and a speakerphone, the model also boasts impressive business-friendly options. These include full Bluetooth, email support and an RSS newsreader. The musical features of this model are almost the same as other walkman phones. Besides allowing users to organize their music by artist, playlist etc., it also provides options like loop, shuffle, equalizer and stereo widening. The phone also comes equipped with a 2-megapixel camera which can shoot pictures in 3 different resolutions through numerous scene modes and there are also plenty of advanced settings to keep you engaged.

Although it has many interesting capabilities, the W810i also has a few complaints. Call quality, for instance, seems to be mediocre. Test runs at CNET showed several instances of static and patchiness during calls. Signal reception and volume are both very good but the overall audio performance isn’t par with other Walkman phones. There are also several complaints regarding the included Disc2Phone software. Apart from being quite slow in transfers, the program is also plagued by compatibility problems which tend to annoy users. Battery life is impressive though, with a standby of 14 days and a rated talk time of about 8 hours. Although the model does have a few quirks, it is definitely another success with its arsenal of very impressive features.
