Excerpt: I've owned this phone now for about three months, while its theoretically a great phone (features wise) I have serious question about the abilities of the developers. I really want to like this phone but am loing respect for SE because they rushed a phone out before it was ready.
Summary: All in all, the Sony Ericsson W800 is a great phone for people that want to have an "all in one" device that takes pics, vids, plays mp3s, make calls, browse the web, and all those other neat things that you could do in a cellphone, despite its high price, this makes it very well worth it and i...
Pros: Excellent overall phone design, takes great photos, MP3s sound awsome with or without headphones, Very bright and crisp LCD screen. Have yet to activate it with service so I wouldn't know much about call quality(but i hear its good). Comes with a 512MB memory stick ProDuo.
Cons: Buttons especially the little navigation stick can get slippery. The headphones that are included tend to keep falling off my ears.
Summary: Bought as a replacement for elderly mother - who washed her old one. She tells me there's not the choice of ringtones or volume control as her last one - but would imagine the options are there somewhere. Does the job it was bought for.
Excerpt: I had this phone for a good while before I got my iPhone. My husband had a contract phone and I always have had pay and go. He saw this phone years ago and he was a fan of Sony phones so he chose this one for his new contract.
A great music phone. I recommend this to people that put music above all else.

Excerpt: I used this phone for 2 years and it was probably the best phone I owned so far!! Screen- Screen is 2.3 inches but this phone debuted before the whole media explosion with 5-6 inch screens. The resolution is not too high but this is a music phone and it delivers on that front.
Excerpt: You never forget the best phone you ever owned. This one was mine. I don't own it anymore due to having it on contract and upgrades being offered but this was passed on to my dad who still has it.
Great walkman phone, but not one that will last as long as you may wish.

Excerpt: I got this phone when it first came out after being wooed by the man in the shop. I had always owned Nokias, however on this occasion I went with the W800i. I was amazed by the walkman features, the excellent camera quality and brilliant software.
If you're after a walkman phone and you're strapped for cash then this is for you!

Excerpt: The Sony Ericsson W800i was the first 'walkman' phone I bought and served me well for the majority of the 18 months that I had it. The design of the phone itself is great, the white and orange colour scheme make it stand out and I'd love to have a similarly coloured phone again.
