Summary: I purchased the S710a early 2005, and I loved it! This is the phone that made me fall in love with Sony Ericsson products. I never use any other phone unless its Sony Ericsson. You get a big PDA-Size screen, but with a smaller phone size.
Excerpt: I've owned this phone now for about three months, while its theoretically a great phone (features wise) I have serious question about the abilities of the developers. I really want to like this phone but am loing respect for SE because they rushed a phone out before it was ready.
Excerpt: I had this phone for a good while before I got my iPhone. My husband had a contract phone and I always have had pay and go. He saw this phone years ago and he was a fan of Sony phones so he chose this one for his new contract.
Great walkman phone, but not one that will last as long as you may wish.

Excerpt: I got this phone when it first came out after being wooed by the man in the shop. I had always owned Nokias, however on this occasion I went with the W800i. I was amazed by the walkman features, the excellent camera quality and brilliant software.
Excerpt: You never forget the best phone you ever owned. This one was mine. I don't own it anymore due to having it on contract and upgrades being offered but this was passed on to my dad who still has it.
A great music phone. I recommend this to people that put music above all else.

Excerpt: I used this phone for 2 years and it was probably the best phone I owned so far!! Screen- Screen is 2.3 inches but this phone debuted before the whole media explosion with 5-6 inch screens. The resolution is not too high but this is a music phone and it delivers on that front.
If you're after a walkman phone and you're strapped for cash then this is for you!

Excerpt: The Sony Ericsson W800i was the first 'walkman' phone I bought and served me well for the majority of the 18 months that I had it. The design of the phone itself is great, the white and orange colour scheme make it stand out and I'd love to have a similarly coloured phone again.
Excerpt: Cell phones with MP3 capability are hardly a new concept. Yet for most models, the feature is something of an afterthought, with a bare-bones interface, few functions, and inferior music quality. But with the Sony Ericsson W800i Walkman phone, this trend is beginning to change.
