Summary: Great phone but had a problem with screen going black and the camera stopped working on my original 1 had it for 20 months so I purchased another on Ebay. Great Camera pictures are excellent!!!
Excerpt: I've owned and loved the W760 for two weeks after trying and hating the LG Vu. The flash-based menus are intuitive and good looking, the interface runs smoothly and quickly, and the phone has a solid build quality for the most part. In addition, the media/walkman feature is easily acsessible, unlike the LG Vu. Furthermore, the debranded W760 inclued a FREE GPS system, in addition to many useful applications, such as a fitness tracker.
Pros: Fast interface when debranded, Beautiful screen, Beautiful flash-based themes, Intuitive menus, Easily synced with PC, Good call quality, Great Walkman sound quality
Cons: Lags slightly with AT&T branding, Not the most beautiful looking phone (better in person than on screen though), Accelerometer is slightly slow when compared to iphone
Summary: I just got a w760a and would like to know if anyone has ringtones in their walkman? A couple of the ringtones that was preloaded in the phone also show up in my walkman. When I go to delete them it says protected files and it won't delete them. The same ones are also in the MUSIC folder located in the MY STUFF folder. However they are not in the RINGTONE folder which is also located in the MUSIC folder.
Summary: I love this phone, and this phone is awesome. But I have a little problem for the RINGTONE. I just got a w760a and would like to know if anyone else has ringtones in their walkman? A couple of the ringtones that was preloaded in the phone also show up in my walkman. When I go to delete them it says protected files and it won't delete them. The same ones are also in the MUSIC folder located in the MY STUFF folder.
Excerpt: First I want to say that I'm a Sony Ericsson fan. I believe they make excellent phones. I've loved every SonyE phone I've ever had. My previous Sony (w810i) was great. I dropped it in 3 ft of dirty water for more than 5-10 seconds & it still worked fine once it dried, including the camera! The camera took fantastic pics! So needless to say, I was really looking forward to this model.
Excerpt: I got this phone from AT&T, immediately debranded it and now it works much better. Only a few complains - One, it reboots randomly and at least once a day for no reason. It's definitely the firmware so I hope they fix it. Two, it has no flash for the camera. Image quality isn't great, but isn't poor. Takes decent pictures for fun snapshots. Three, the slide isn't as good as the W910, it just doesn't have the same "snapping" feel when it is opened.
Pros: 1. Fast interface, 2. expandable memory, 3. Can use MP3s as ringtones (for the people complaining, it is because you have an AT&T branded phone and they only allow 30 seconds or less of another file extension. IT IS AT&T's FAULT, NOT SONY ERICSSON. If you debrand the phone, you can use mp3s!, 4. Walkman/Media is very easy to use, looks good and works well, 5. Included games are fun
Excerpt: It's a tad wider then I expected. Overall a solid performer that doesn't disappoint. Gets signal everywhere that a Nokia 6131 did. Callers sound clear. Battery life could be better, but that's life in the 3G lane I guess. CONS: 1. easy to hit loudspeaker when sliding open to answer a call 2. battery life so-so (recharge every 2 days with low-moderate use) 3. camera viewfinder not full-screen 4. RF is good but not stellar 5.
Summary: Nice mobile. Its panorama shoots are nice and clear. I Love to take pics from this mobile rather than my 3.5 MP Camera. :) Only one thing which i missed in the set is Autofocus and also it has no wifi. Other wise it is best set. ;) Music DJ, Video DJ & Photo DJ are powerfull tools. Sound is excellent and it is surprizing....
Pros: Everything is good, Sound is Excellent, Video is nice, Photos are nice, Good mobile Slim in design and so fast to operate it.
