Released at the same time as the Ericsson Z555a, the Sony Ericsson W760 is a flip phone of great style and personality. This hot phone offers such features as the ability to be used all over the world, and also as a great walkman. This phone even offers auto-rotation and shake-control for the screen. With a 2.2 inch display and QVGA system, the phone can display screen images in the normal 262K colors that so many are used to. This feature is a great help when surfing... Read more

S ony’s latest Walkman phone, the Sony Ericsson W760i, is aimed at those who are on-the-go, but don’t want a ton of gadgets weighing them down. It’s easy to use, reliable and packed with music, communications and organization features. Hell, it even has an accelerometer and a couple of GPS applications, all in a slick slider that’s guaranteed to turn a head or two. Read more

  3. Sony Ericsson's W760a 3G Walkman now available on AT&T

It's been a long time coming (isn't it always with Sony Ericsson and AT&T?), but the January-announced W760 Walkman slider is finally hitting the US on contract. Announced today, the shakeable W760a will be available in AT&T locations, bringing with it 3G support, a 3.2-megapixel camera, AT&T Navigator and "full HTML web browsing." In case you haven't seen already , it'll be available in red, black and silver motifs, with the latter hue being exclusive to RadioShack for... Read more

As such, recommendations could well depend on when, exactly, this review is read. It would be difficult to persuade an AT&T customer to rush out in November 2008 and buy a W760 when it's still carried at its full price. That could change, and may not be the case at all for Rogers when its pricing goes public. Until then, however, the W760's greatest appeal will be to UIQ fans or those who want 3G, GPS and music in the smallest possible size and are willing to accept... Read more

The W760i is one of those phones that I can easily recommend to anyone who asks me about a good phone, it’s better than a good phone it’s a great phone really. It’s easy to use, call quality is perfect, pictures and videos are very good, and battery life is good as well, if you include all of the other great features you’ve got a very nice phone overall. I picked up this phone in March 2009, and so far have replaced it twice under warranty. It will randomly reset itself, hang if you're trying to navigate menus while playing mp3s, and the antenna leaves much to be desired. It's very feature rich, it will support an 8GB M2 stick although the documentation only specifies 4GB, but the features come as the cost of low battery life. The connector for recharging and adapting is a bit on the lower quality side, but that has been... Read more

"Ive had this phone for about 2 weeks now and the ease of use and features are outstanding. The display is nice and bright and the GPS works well letting you speak the locations. The 3G is fast even in areas that my previous phone struggled. The phone is fairly lightweight but doesnt have that cheap feel. I like the fact that you do not have to slide it open to access the features, even answering and making calls can be done in the closed position. There is a key lock as... Read more

  4. Good phone, but poor multimedia interface

Hey, it's a phone. Sure it has a camera without a flash and internet availability, but it functions best as a phone. Calls can be answered without opening the phone. The multimedia interface isn't the best. I can rarely slide the phone open without fat-fingering it and opening a window I didn't mean to open. All the camera shots are too dark and need to be modified to be of any use. The internet is a toy at best.....the interface is poor. Texting is poor too as the... Read more
