Excerpt: I have had this phone for about 14months. Everything has been fine until it shut off by itself and won't turn on again. This has happened a few times but i could always turn the phone back on. Now I in the midst of trying to fix it. In general it's a very cute phone but can cause fustration when it turns off.
Conclusion: The W380 is a pretty nice phone - it looks and feels great, and for a budget price it's not too badly designed either. The external screen is quite nifty, giving you a quick synopsis of any new events (calls, messages, etc) and the phone feels sturdy. The gesture control is a pretty good feature if you're lazy and like to snooze our alarms, but it feels like more of a gimmick than an actual feature. The speaker's pretty loud but I'm afraid the praise ends there.
Pros: It's stylish.
Cons: If you keep anything else in the same pocket as your phone and you're listening to the walkman, there's a chance the buttons will register and change your music for you.
Summary: I had one of these phones before and found it very functional, until the loudspeaker failed. Purchased another phone, never comfortable with it. Purchased W830 from cell 2 cell, but arrived with Spanish instruction manual, no indication on site that this would be the case.
