Such a shame

Julia Roberts, Phone Arena
11 August 2010
  • Excerpt: I´ve had this phone for 15 months now. I loved the size and the look of it.  Software was OK for me. Picture quality is rather poor, but I´m not a big fan of using my cell to take photos (I prefer my camera). Just a little elegant useful phone.I was being pacient about some annoyances it has (the buttons are quite hard to press and the extra effort begins to take its toll on them after a while, the plastic developed two o three cracks despite normal use and no drops nor...

A Big Mistake

YokoLucy, Amazon
29 December 2011
  • Summary: Yep, it looks pretty, but found it to be false economy. Was looking for a pay as you go phone without spending the earth and regretted it. Sound is bad (missed lots of calls), music player is a waste of time, camera is very poor. I guess you get what you pay for but having tried and tested this, I'd say it's only worth £25 max. I took the Sony Ericsson brand as quality, but maybe that's just in their higher end phones?

Stylish but impractical

ramrombit, Dooyoo
15 November 2011
  • Summary: My primary reasons for selecting this phone were the flip top, Walkman branding and especially the magic 'invisible' external screen. Unfortunately, the quality of this phone was a real let down. The magic screen stopped functioning for the first time within 6 months of purchase, and after repair lasted only another 6 months.
  • Pros: Style
  • Cons: Poor construction

Why I wish I hadn't bought the Sony Ericsson 380i

  • Excerpt: "I bought this from littlewoods catalogue for £79, at the time i didn't really know what type of mobile i wanted. i was in a hurry as my old one had broken. i chose this because it was purple(!) and also because i was intending on loading songs onto it, i never got round to it but i still liked the phone anyway. i bought it about 8 months ago, 3 months ago the battery life went downhill, it would need charging everyday which i think is bad. then just ...

Sony Ericsson W380i Walkman

Mimi.O, Ciao
25 January 2009
  • Excerpt: "This is quite a cool phone to own at first because of the unique screen on the front and the music buttons on the outside of the phone that will amaze your friends for hours on end but this is more or less where the good things about this phone begin and end. The back off the phone likes to pop out easily, and no I'm not talking about the part that open so you can put the battery and sim in like most phones, I mean the actual back of the phone ...
  • Pros: Not enough  -  just that it looks cool music buttons and a screen on the oustide
  • Cons: Poor walkman for a walkman phone, poor camera and breaks easily

  • Excerpt: "...too! This is my fourth Sony erricson phone; and the fourth one that has broken within weeks of me owning it. Why, you may ask do I keep buying phones from the brand if the wares are of a poor quality, beats me but I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the fact that they always make their phones so aesthetically pleasing, they look good, and sound very technologically sophisticated, as well as most models having extremely 'unique' gimmicky features ...
  • Pros: nice to look at

  • Excerpt: "...the mp3 player. I think sony could really have thought more about the battery life considering it is a walkman phone and the battery should acommodate this.
