decent phone with fun features

  • Excerpt: It's held up well for the time I've owned it... though some of the buttons have cracked through regular use and the 'keypad lock' feature doesn't seem to work as well as it should {often causing my phone to dial numbers or connect to the internet when in my purse or pocket}. On the positive side, I do love the options for different ring tones for each of my contacts. Also, the camera is fairly good quality for a small cell phone.

good phone but music player always turns on while in pocket.

  • Excerpt: This is a good phone for basic use. The battery life is descent comparably, but has very odd charging port. Hard to get a radio adapter to headphones that last more than a week or so, because of the cheesy port. It only has two very small male rods that have to be inserted and adjusted to begin charging. No complaints with the range of bars, has good reception.

The Walkman cell phone by Sony Ericsson is okay, but not great.

  • Excerpt: When I first got this cell phone, I thought it was pretty cool. I liked the fact that you could listen to your music on it, and it had a camera, and it was white. I thought it was stylish. The more I became familiar with it, the more I realized it is not that great. It drops calls frequently (which I realize could be the service provider), but it is very frustrating. I also dislike the flip on it.

  • Excerpt: I had been looking for a slim phone with just the basics. I got what I was looking for in this phone. Its slim and very light, it fits in my pockets perfectly without being bulky. The resolution of the camera is quite good for this type of models. I'm very satisfied with it.

This phone is ok, but not very user friendly.

  • Excerpt: I am not very impressed with this phone.  It has a lot of features on it, but they are hard to get to.  Just finding the basic features and settings is time consuming.  I like to never figured out how to use the speaker phone feature.  It is compact and lightweight.  The keys are pretty small, so if you have big fingers it would be hard to dial without hitting a number beside the one you are trying to key in.

Works fine but key pad is too small

  • Excerpt: When I initially got this phone I was somewhat surprised by how small it was. It almost looks like an Ipod.  It certainly is as small as one. It's extremely thin so it fits nicely in your pants pocket without being noticiable. The battery cover is very flimsy so you need to be careful not to break it. The thing that I do like about it is that it is very compact so it fits into small purses.

Pretty simple and easy to use phone!

  • Excerpt: This phone is retty neat. Its an MP3 player and a phone all in one. But the problem is that it doesn't have that much features when you don't have the full service. For example, if you take the At&t montly plan you get all the features unlocked. You can't shop tones, browse videos, (etc) without the At&t full service. The full service costs like 30 to 40 dollars per month. In other wise te phone is simple. The music player doesnt even work.

  • Excerpt: I enjoy using small phones, but not this one. The keys are so small that my fingers are constantly slipping and typing in the wrong numbers. If you don't lock the walkman part of the phone and you put it in your back pocket then it will start playing music on its own when it gets bumped. The games only last for an hour and then you need to buy them. If you drop it then the backing will come off of it.

Great phone, great sound... too easily broken

  • Excerpt: I bought this phone at the beginning of 2009 and I have certainly gotten a lot of use out of it. It's got incredible sound quality, it's easy to use, light weight and compact, but it's NOT durable. It's very easily broken. Within the first two months I had accidentally sat on it while taking care of my duaghter and messed up the music screen.

Great ideas, poor execution

  • Excerpt: While the phone itself has great functions (a radio, mp3 capability etc) the navigation is awkward and poorly conceived.  There are two different music players within the same phone (the wireless providers and the unit-specific one) which often compete. As a Mac user, there is no software with which to import/export files like songs to the phone's included 512 megabyte (a small size in my opinion) flash card.
