Summary: The phone has general scrapes which are fine considering its been used. but the screen which works with a opening up mechanism takes a while to turn on (it blanks out then turns on) and the cap is sort of loose as if any more hits or droppings could brake the phone instantly. All in all the condition was worse then described. it works but is almost ready to break. I would only recommend this to those who need a phone fast.
Excerpt: Overall good phone. Picture quality poor and speaker quality could be better. I have dropped this phone a million times and it still works like a charm. Headphones that come with phone to listen to radio are cheap and the ear pieces will fall off.Ring tones that come on the phone are nice - different than any other phone I have had. The buttons are too close together making texting difficult unless you are paying close attention.
Excerpt: When I got this phone I was most excited about the mp3 storage/playback. Once I got an ipod this function was no longer necessary. The phone doesn't store as much music as I had anticipated and transferring files to the phone is mildly difficult. Lately the phone has been rather buggy. It tells me that my text inbox is full, but won't let me delete the folder without some complications.
Excerpt: The Sony Ericsson is a great phone...at first. But it's deceivingly fragile, and the AT&T people never seem to know how to fix it, other than to have you do a 'Master Reset', which deletes all of your settings, contacts and ringtones. I've had to reset it three times in the past 4 months. Do not buy this phone if you are in the least bit klutzy or ever come into contact with water.
Excerpt: I was opening a new account so decided to get this phone at the special price. I was excited about the thought of having a radio and MP3 player on it. Not to mention internet access and a camera. The radio works pretty good, but the only way to use it is with the antanae which is kind of a pain. I would prefer it built in. If anything happens to it you have to buy a new one. If you want to get any amount of storage you need to buy the card.
Excerpt: I got this phone 3 years ago at a good price it was aproximitly $59.00 at Radio Shack. It had everything I wanted in a phone at the time for a good price. It had a camera which took clearer pictures than the phone I had before, and it had a lot more music functions than an ordinary cell phone. The ericsson W300i streams music, and plays songs on it that you can load onto it from your computer. It also has an Am\Fm radio on it.
fun, functional, perfect- except when it shorts out ALL THE TIME

Excerpt: After retiring my archaic early 2000's cell in favor of a smaller, more compact and multi-functional version, I can say I'm somewhat satisfied with the Sony Ericsson W300i Walkman Phone. It fits the bill- cute, functional, fun, headset with a wire (no retarded bluetooth falling out of my ear), can listen to music at the gym and answer calls if I have to. Only problem is that I am now on my second one, and still having the same problems occasionally.
