  • Summary: hiya my sony ericsson w205 isn't working properly. last night i charged it for 3 hours (how long its supposed to be charged) and then later it just turned off. so i took out the battery and put it back in and if went on but the the screen went white and then it switched off again, and it keeps doing this, I'm charging the phone right now and its saying charging but when i'd left on the charger for about 4 hours the same thing kept happening again!

Good entry-level handset

  • Summary: OK, I'm writing this review after only having the handset for a day or so, but so far, I haven't had any issues w/ it. I purchased the phone as a "cheap but cheerful" handset for younger family members, but I thought I'd try using the handset first. Battery life seems good, but I haven't used the radio or music player too much and I'm guessing this is where the majority of battery drain will occur.

not that bad, honest

  • Summary: This is a good value phone if you want music. good points Easy to add mp3s from a computer. You do need to buy a cable, but then you just drag and drop suitably tagged mp3 files and you're ready to go, with songs easily selectable by album or artist. Factor in the cost of a memory card for a decent amount of storage. Radio reception is good, but you have to have the hands free plugged in to act as an aerial. Easy operating system, very intuitive.
