Summary: I got this phone a few weeks ago after using a blackberry pearl for several months previously, so take everything I say with a grain of salt if you are still used to older phones. However even a lot of older ones work a lot better than the T610. When trying to change from one menu to another the process is oftentimes achingly slow.
Excerpt: The T68i is a fairly decent phone if you can acutally use it. The reception on this phone is horrible I couldn't get any service to save my life and that is a fact. If you are looking for a good flashy phone that will catch people's attention with features and funtions this is your phone but don't forget you will need another phone to make all your phone calls with. This phone and AT&T GSM service are both a waste of time and money don't bother with it at all.
Excerpt: This phone has a lot! Bluetooth, Color, Infra-red, Tri-band, Above Average battery life for a color phone, and all those other extras, but it's missing the key ingredient for a phone. an antenna. The reception on the phone isn't too terrible, but it's the worst I have used. The phone started with a 5. I deducted .5 for its speed. It's not too slow, but slow enough to cause a minor annoyance.
This phone has many features but fails on Voice Quality and Support
5 October 2002
Excerpt: I bought this phone from AT&T as it was suppose to be the best. I admit that it does have many features but getting them all to work may be a challenge. Voice quality and reception, which to me are most important, are quite poor. There is no external antenna and calls tend to not go through or get dropped quite often. The phone is prone to lockup as the software appears to have many bugs in it.
Excerpt: "I have had two of these, the second to replace the unfixable first. On my first the number 7 key stopped working so I sent it back for repair and was sent a new one which again lasted six months this time the screen faded, went black and was never to work again. It was a shame as the phone itself is brilliant when working. It is the easiest phone to navigate and came with ten games the first time and thirteen the second. The games were basic but ...
Pros: Small Phone Very easy to navigate
Cons: They don't live long both mine lasted 6 months
Excerpt: "I had this phone for a year on an orange contract and got rid of it as soon as I could. The device is competent in terms of functionality however, I had to have three replacements on the orange insurance as they just kept packing in! Common problems were - number pad packing in, spontaneous switching off, screen losing backlight. My friends have had simillar problems too. On the upside the fact you can assign pictures to callers is a nice touch ...
Excerpt: "I've had this phone for a while, and when I saw this site I knew I had to tell others about it. I realise this has been reviewed so many times, but I still feel strongly about this product. In use, the phone is simple enough to get to all available features and navigation is simple too. However, a phone needs more than that. People do want a small phone, and this has compact dimensions in abundance. Sadly, its size without good engineering ...
Pros: Small, looks good, adequate features
Cons: Bad battery, bad reception, pointless colour
Excerpt: "Not a great deal to add to other reviews elsewhere except to say I loved this phone when it was working - but for the 12 months I owned it on a contract 4 months of that time was spent in the repair shop. The phones functions are very logical and easy to use - well thought out and nice colour screen. Good memory - but camera is an added feature at extra cost - a definate poor feature in the current crop of phones. If it the phone was robust ...
