Excerpt: I'm posting this review for all after 6 months of heavy usage so let's begain... I belive that vivaz was a good phone 2 yr back but now it's Android era so it's up to you and to help for your choise I've reviewed every single part of vivaz below so you can judge yourself but overall my opinion is...
Pros: very handy and looks nice., overall Good Camera for both Video and Still images., GPS works great and locks very fast., Great Multimedia Solutions, Good battery, Fast processor and GPU chip makes it hanlde with heavy games and graphics so nicely, very cheap comparing to it's competitors, Notifica...
Cons: Symbian is already dead, Touch screen response is very bad., poor viewing in Sunlight., Speaker is very low., very glossy and very sensitive to fingerprints, No Xenon flash and No lens cover, Night mode 9fbs camera bug
Summary: Garmin GPS for Symbian uses maps fully loaded onto the flash-card. So I don't need to download maps on-fly and pay for that.
Pros: + Supports US, European and Asian 3G + Skype on WiFi, Edge and 3G + Compact and lightweight + 8M photo camera with good quality of pictures (among phones) + Not bad video recorder + Good sound quality + Hardware buttons (I like it :-)
Cons: * Ring volume in not as loud as I want * Old and outdated Adobe flash 3.x support, so some web-sites may be not fully accessible * Touchscreen under direct sunlight is hard to see (like on many phones) * Battery needs to be charged every second day (like on many smartphones)
Summary: I'm still learning and bonding with my phone since acquiring it in April. This is my first smart phone, but it's a great transition from old school to the new models. I happened upon this phone after months of researching affordable phones and features, I was ready to give up and settle for...
Summary: This is a great phone that does most of the things that I want a phone to do: multiple email accounts, Opera Mini, Skype. There are a few things that bring this phone down from a perfect score. The call quality is somewhat poor - microphone picks up any wind and the speaker gives static.
Excerpt: I've had the phone for a while now, and yes, its camera is great. The shots I've taken with are sometimes better than my pretty serious compact camera... That is saying something. Haven't been shooting videos yet. What I am unimpressed with is the accuracy of the keyboard, or rather the alignment.
Pros: Camera and adherent software, water level
Cons: orientation sensor is too slow, accuracy/alignment of keyboard
Good phone, easy enough to use, not sure if the problem with the screen is common though

Excerpt: I have always been a fan of Sony Ericsson phones- having no other form of music player, this phone was good in that i didn't need an MP3 player or ipod etc as i found the music quality impressive.

Excerpt: I have had the sony ericsson vivaz ruby for nearly two years on contract. Its a great phone, really great apps and features such as the track id which means you can hold it next to a song that's playing and it will tell you what the track name and artist is.
