Awful

moosedrink, Ebay
5 December 2012
  • Summary: Out of the box the video button didn't work. The camera only works when using the touch screen to focus. I can't take pictures with any other focus setting, including autofocus. After saving phone numbers on the phone, only some of the names pop up when I am called or texted, making it basically impossible to figure out who is contacting me without memorizing their number. Also, the first time I opened the plastic piece over the charging plug, it broke off.

  • Summary: It was a really bad experience because the touch screen doesn't work when you touch it lightly you have to touch it very hard lots of times than it works and it goes off when your in a middle of a conversation. So I give it 1/5 at every thing.

  • Pros: Nice size, fits in your pocket.
  • Cons: - As it uses Symbian that SE (Sony ericsson), and others, has decided to drop there are a very limited amount of applications. In Sweden there's really only Spotify that is of any use at all. - When capturing video in HD (720p) the picture hangs constantl

  • Excerpt: "I bought my Vivaz in March this year (2010). It has been sent back to the manufacturers 7 times since I bought it and yesterday it broke on me... Again! After they even replaces the touchscreen. When watching vids over youtube its best to hold it from the side, but doing that your risk pressing the on/off button. With my one if you switch it on the phone will have a high risk of dying. My phone constantly freezes at start up screen and won't work ...

Sony Ericsson Vivaz - watch out for this phone!

energyboo..., Ciao
17 August 2010
  • Excerpt: "I bought this phone 3 months ago and I quickly realized it wasn't worth the money. It's slow to react and it's hard to lock. It "freezes" all the time and you have to wait for the phone to "catch up" with you when you want to do something. I'm really disappointed at the touch screen, it's hard to write messages and you type it wrong all the time because it's so slow and insensitive to your touch. The camera is a big plus tough, it's reeeallly good! The ...

  • Summary: Just a few minutes with this phone in the O2 shop was enough to make me realise this was not the phone for me. The touchscreen was unresponsive and needed to be tapped at least twice to get it to work, it was a frustrating experience! I was disappointed to say the least, this was the top contender for my next phone. Better start researching different phones now...
  • Pros: Not much sadly
  • Cons: Unresponsive touchscreen
