Excerpt: Another major issue I’m experiencing now is the joystick it does not that function well that I need to move it several times in order to get it working. The maximum voice volume for this phone is not that loud if compare to Sony Ericsson K610i however, it’s at the safety level of voice volume. Overall, I love the features of Sony Ericsson K810i but get frustrated on the button design and the joystick.
Excerpt: There is nothing new in compare with K800. I have updated my K800 to K810 at www.wotanserver.com but no advantages. I think this phone is for those who still use K750 or W810 and SE wants them to spent money on new model before K850 comes out...
Summary: I have recently purchased a Sony Ericsson K810i, to replace my old K800i. True, there are some improvements, the sliding camera lense cover, to name just the one that I really noticed. The keys are different, the jury's still out as to if they are better or not. The shortcut key to connect to the internet is still prone to being accidently knocked, I imagine this could rack up a bill or eat through your credit if you're not inclusive.
The K810i wows us with an excellent camera, but falls short ...

Summary: Some time ago, I purchased two Sony Ericsson K810i's - one for myself, and one for my partner, for two reasons : one, we needed a good quality camera for taking pictures of the baby, and by all acocunt the Sony Ericsson's were the best on the market; and two, the K800i had received persistently positive reviews , and seemed to hold it's value reasonably well on places such as Ebay.
Pros: Superb image quality - literally the best I've ever had in a cameraphone.
Cons: Bizarre keypad, and easily scratched screen.
Sony Ericsson K810i: Sony Eriscsson K810i too many features to use!!

Summary: The Sony Ericsson K810i is a great little phone. Little though it is not! Its not a brick but if you're into the whole thing of 'whos got the smallest best phone' then dont bother. You can get smaller phones that are just as good. I would not however pay the rediculous price that is being asked in the shops for this phone though! In my opinion it doesnt warrent near on £200! (i got mine free and secondhand from my brother!
Summary: So after the infamous 'Bond' phone, which was K800i in white, it ressurected as K810i, with improvements. The main question here to ask is, is it worth upgrading K800i to K810i? Let's see if it is so. The main thing about K810i is the design - it is the same 'bar' phone , but the front is composed of clear-plastic, and the keypad has the steel look, round and neatly cut, unlike the square soft plastic keys of K800i. It did appeal to me alot, the new steel keys.
