Excerpt: My old phone died on me few months ago so I decided to buy a new phone for me. I was torn between buying the Nokia N73 and Sony Ericsson K770i. I searched the Internet with their specifications and I found out that Sony Ericsson K770i is the one that I needed. Yeah, they do have the same specification but there were lots of reviews that this certain Nokia phone is somewhat freezing from time to time so I bought the K770i. My instinct never fails me!
Excerpt: I love this cybershot phone very much! Sony Ericson K770i caters to my personal needs. Not just vanity but basic needs as well. First, it has a lot of necessary features from texting, calling, calculator, music, camera and all. Its edge over others is the cybershot feature which gives the best quality photos in the world. It has 3.2 megapixels unlike the old versions which only have 2MP.
Excerpt: out standing set have it for 2years & still going strong superb in just about every aspect be it camera or calls or music dont remember a single day that this set has caused me any sort of problem probably one of the best feature phones from Sony Ericsson after k750i
Excerpt: I had been sceptical about buying Sony Ericsson K770i. First, I was doubtful about its ability to be user-friendly. My experience with mobile phones had always been shared with Nokia. I was able to borrow a friend’s Sony Ericsson mobile phone before and I found it really hard to use.
Excerpt: I think that k770 is the same of k800 just there is one different between them belong to Flash , in k770 it's LED but in k800 it's Xenon. But i think that k770 is better than k800 especially in design. And k800 has a problem in battery with my friends. But k770 is more expensive than k800 with just 40$ .
Conclusion: Very good compromise and combination. Only downsize is the music player where it obviously would be nice to have the "Walkman" player, but that is of course not an option because of this being a "Cybershot" phone. All in all this is a very good, practica, useful phone with an excellent camera, stunning looks and plenty of features and nothing that "stands out", neither in positive, nor negative ways.
Pros: Camera cover is the best solution yet, doesn't open when in the pocket.
Cons: Haven't found any yet... well ok, the music player could be better of course... but it does the job well and plays mp3-s with different bitrates, not like my M600 which spells out "ERROR" on many of my tunes.
Excerpt: Well to start with, we have to know that the k770 is identical to the k800 (which it shares its platform with) in many ways.So its an excellent mobile to start with. The k800 was voted as the best mobile camera phone by many reviews .And as an owner of one i ensure it is.Add to all this, the k770's slimness and design and u have a winner.Dont see any reason why it shouldn't be (hope price isnt one).....maybe the number pads would turn to be smaller..
