Sony Ericsson K770i

The Sony Ericsson K770i mobile phone is a member of Sony Ericsson’s Cyber-shot phone product line. The company announced this candy bar phone in August 2007 and released it to the market in February 2008. The tri-band, with 3G, K770i is available in five distinct colors: Truffle Brown, Ultra Violet, Sandy Beige, Henna Bronze, Soft Black.

Key Features

Because of its Cyber-shot lineage, the K770i comes with a number of key imaging features. The phone comes with a 3.2 megapixel CMOS-matrix camera, autofocus features and LED flash. The camera can snap pictures of up to 2048 x 1536 pixels and record video clips at either 176 x 144 or 128 x 96 resolution in 3GP format. For video calls, a front facing VGA camera beside the earpiece is provided.

The K770i comes with the familiar Cyber-shot interface, where several camera settings can be accessed and set to the users preference. Users can choose from three shutter sounds, adjust white balance, choose from several effects to apply to their pictures, set a timer, and choose from a number of shooting modes such as night mode and landscape mode. Sony Ericsson’s Photo Fix application is also included for editing photos directly on the K770i. In addition, pictures on the K770i can be directly and easily uploaded to the user’s online blog.

While not offering the full music player functionality of Sony Ericsson’s Walkman product line, the K770i still comes with several features that make it a capable music player in its own right. The phone supports most of the major music formats and comes with Disc2Phone software, TrackID music recognition, access to the PlayNow service and Stereo Bluetooth.
