The Sony Ericsson K750i is a candy bar-style cell phone that combines a good phone with great wireless connectivity and lots of multimedia options. The triband GSM was connected well, with good audio quality. With a 510-entry phone book , a calendar, photo caller ID, a vibrate mode; voice memos and commands, and over 30 ring tones, the phone is packed with user options. The K750i's wireless connectivity includes POP and IMAP access, an infrared port, and fully enabled Bluetooth that lets a user send and transfer photos, videos, and MP3s, as well as sync contacts and calendar events. Talk time is over 5 hours, while standby is at 10 days. One cool feature of the cell phone is the ability to light your way using it. The camera's shutter button emits a white light for a few seconds when the camera is activated, and you can use the LEDs as a torch, setting them to be on for one minute, indefinitely or in SOS mode.

Speaking of the camera, it is one of the best in any cell phone, at 2-megapixels. . Along with the auto-focus system complete with macro mode shooting, users can take pictures with resolutions up to 1,632x1,224 pixels. The 4X digital zoom camera also features a night mode, an 8-second self-timer, black and white, negative, and sepia color effects, white-balance settings; a rapid-fire burst mode, and a panorama mode. The K750i is equally good at playing music, with both an FM radio and MP3 player. Music output is good, though there is some distortion at the higher volume levels. The K750i's media player lets a user create playlists and even has an equalizer, complete with presets for bass, MegaBass, voice and treble boost, and a user-defined mode. The phone can also play videos and Java games. The biggest complaint about the K750i is the hard-to-use keypad. Although the blue-backlit keys look cool, their small size and angled design are hard on the fingers, making it hard to find–or even press–the right key. The navigation joystick was also wiggly and stubby, making it hard to maneuver. One other problem with the phone: there is a slight issue with the new Fast Port headphone connector: wiggling the headset results in a noticeable drop in audio level. This may become a problem with frequent use of the provided headphones. Overall, however, the Sony Ericsson K750i is a solid phone that combines a solid phone with great multimedia features.
