  • Excerpt: The sony ericsson f500i phone is good. the video clips are quite sharp and can be transferred via infra-red to a pc, but the file type (GP) is not compatible with current windows media player. Hence, the recorded clips cannot be played back when transferred to a pc or any other portable device. I am of the opinion that a downloadable software be created by the manufacturer and made available online for current and future users, to enable us get more value for our money.

  • Excerpt: Got this fone for xmas. Loads of features, excellent fone overall. I can transfer games to it over IRDA or my datacable, and funny video clips, making this an excellent overall multimedia device. My only complaint is it doesnt have bluetooth.

  • Excerpt: I got this phone recentrly and I can say for sure that it's worth the money. The battery isn't as good as expected but it's a very nice phone. And a very nice screen display too.

  • Excerpt: I've had this handset for about 6 months and it can do everything that it says on the tin! Nice large colour screen, mms, email, internet. Batterylife is good and very quick to charge. I feel that the camera is very good with a 1.0 optical zoom and can take unlimited timed videos also. Not very many games featured on this phone, but can download extras from the internet which is a great idea.
  • Pros: lightweight, easy to use
  • Cons: software issues, not enough memory

  • Excerpt: I have had many different handsets before, but Sony Ericsson has been the best so far, it has text, email, mms, camera, video, media player, ideal for MP3 lovers, the phone itself is a nice comfortable design, not heavy, can add ringtones etc, I use the internet facilities to download games, themes, ringtones, and the list is endless, even friendly aboard, and reception is excellent is every area that I have visited.
  • Pros: Very easy to use
  • Cons: can take a while in charging

  • Excerpt: Well, I bought this phone at ebay for less than 180$, and I must say that it's really much more than I was expected for it, when I take it on my hand, I was impressed for its size, it's really small and light, and the screen is big and clear, (most of the SMS can be read without down the scroll).
  • Pros: nice to look at, fuctional, wel equpped
  • Cons: none

Sony Ericsson F500i

  • Excerpt: I got my phone around Christmas after my Sony Ericsson T300 was becoming out of date and the battery seemed to be faulty. I brought my phone in a high street store, not a specialist phone shop and it cost £80, after getting it out of the box and playing around with its features from the camcorder and camera to its Java games like super real tennis I found I liked this phone more that I anticipated.
  • Pros: everything that you will need for a small price
  • Cons: no bluetooth, not 3G
