worst cell phone I've ever owned

pspark, Viewpoints
9 September 2012
  • Excerpt: I got this phone when my Razor took a swim.  Worst purchase I've made in a while.  This phone is not comfortable to use at all.  It sometimes dies mid conversation.  I've had it replaced and still have the same problem.  The things I dislike about it most are that you cannot hear it ring even with the  volume all the way up (but the voice on the other end of the line could burst your eardrum if you have the volume at over 3 bars) and  you cannot hear or feel this phone...

"broke after only 1 year"

joanjps, CNET
12 October 2011
  • Pros: Beautiful pictures and video capability. Call forwarding options excellent. Good looking, altho I would have preferred blue for the skin protector. Has international capability
  • Cons: Unreliable. Still have to pay another year for something in the trash

Really, really buggy.

801alisa, Ebay
5 October 2011
  • Summary: Have now had 3 of these phones... love the idea of the phone. Hate the phone. SOOO buggy. My latest one would randomly stop recognizing the SIM card and would stop functioning... in the middle of calls, texts and sometimes just sitting on the table. My first one shut off randomly. I would take it out of my pocket/purse only to find it powered off and a series of missed texts and calls. Second one the hinge broke (after a year of use).

"Flawed phone, a king of phone call rejection"

jiankangjin, CNET
23 July 2010
  • Pros: Good looking, cute, easy to read, small.
  • Cons: This phone has siginificant flaws, i.e. it will reject calls, by 3 methods: by side-bar when ringing, by magnets of case when you open to get it, and by its programmable camera, the 3rd one is the only one you can disable. Flawed!!!

"Don't Bother"

LeahK992, CNET
22 July 2010
  • Pros: It's a cell phone - that is the only pro I can think.
  • Cons: This phone is not user-friendly for texting. The battery does not keep a charge. I tried to exchange it for a different phone and was told I had a 3 day window to see if I liked it. I think you need longer than 3 days to see if you like a phone.

"Basic phone with no stand out features"

sherylann13, CNET
27 March 2010
  • Pros: Bought this phone as a replacement to the Motorola RAZR that I had for years. Voice quality is good and reception is decent - seem to have less dropped calls.
  • Cons: Dim backlight that can't be adjusted. It's almost impossible to see who's calling if you're in a well lit area. Do not like texting from this phone as auto complete with T9 just doesn't work. Voice Mail messages also seem to get delayed/lost often.
