Excerpt: Give it a time and you'll not want another phone. Small, convenient, usefull -attributes that many expencive models/makes are lacking of. I doesn't look fancy, so it is safe from other people sticky fingers, yet a precious communication jewel in your pocket. I have installed more usefull java apps (like PDF reader, Skype) and I don't want to live without it.
Pros: pure and simple, userfriendly, full flightmode, MPE full compatibility, great music sound!, accepts 16GB microSD, ecological build, battery is very durable
Cons: no wifi, no gps, bad camera / forget about it, sound doesn't have enough volume, doesn't work without SIM
Excerpt: the best basic phone ever..i've used this phone about 1 year..love this phone..sadly....i've sell it to buy new Android phone :'( .. Build Quality-8 Reception-6 Call quality-8 Internet-5 Multimedia-8 Camera-4 UI speed-6 Everyday usage-8 Text input-6 Display-6 Battery-9
Summary: This phone support GSM/GPRS/EDGE @ 850/900/1800/1900 and UMTS/HSPA Band I, that is to say support 3G @ 2100 ... which is strange right???, not the same frequency as GSM. Anyway, menu phone language only in english, french, dutch and some other who-cares asian languages. If you have problem accesing internet via EDGE, just update software, repairing current software.
Excerpt: Best Phone Under Best Price . this is the best fone EVER! you might give it one glance and think its pretty simple, but this elegant little phone is a real machine. apart from its sexy external design, the sony ericsson features 3g, a 3.5mm jack, as well as an ample 2.2 inch screen, much bigger than other handsets of this brand located in its pricerange.
Excerpt: The cheapest member of Greenheart family. I only pay 850.000 rupiahs (about US$ 85) for it. But of course, I gotta buy additional memory (none included), data cable, and protector for the body. On total I spend $110 for it, only getting 8GB memory, since none of the 16GB card in the shop works with it. The included PC Companion sucks, you need to download each single subfunction in it. I recommend My Phone Explorer (free) for managing your phone.
Pros: Very cheap for it's functionality, Upload directly pictures from file manager, Organize pictures according to their location
Cons: The location services accuracy is only 1.6km
Excerpt: Best Phone Under Best Price . Sony Ericsson has done a great job by adding this low cost mobile phone to their lineup. Moreover in future Sony Ericsson could give us good cellphones according to the requirements of people .
Excerpt: "...the weekend, my phone (a Sony Ericsson Xperia X8) started to play up in all sorts of ways. It started when it would not connect to the Internet, then it would not receive calls, and kept losing its battery power within about 10 minutes of a full charge! Finally it just died on me, and so I pulled off the back cover to have a look at it, and to my amazement it was all wet inside! I have no idea how this happened, but after spending the next few days ...
Summary: I'm not a fan of touch sceens and sliding phones, or anything too fancy. This phone does all I need it to do, and more. I have had a few sony ericssons, and do like them generally. one thing I didn't like, is the fact that I bought it knowing I have ammassed car and mains chargers at home, car, work, girlfriends house, even her car. I have an 8Gb memory card with all my favourite song and pictures on. and now they have changed the charger and the memory card.
Summary: It is a nice basic phone, I cant upgrade untill August so I bought this as a spare, As most contracts are 24 months I have never had a phone that lasts that long. The only thing that annoys me is that they claim to be green by not using plasic bags in the box. If they wanted to be truely green they would stop changing the memory card size the charger point size and battery size.
Summary: good basic phone for work purposes, in the building trade so nothing fancy needed just calls, texts and occasional pictures for quotes etc. Phone does exactly as i need it to, good size buttons that nearly suit 'builders fingers'! although do still hit wrong ones, unless they start making buttons man size think this will be an issue with any phone! appears 'joy stick' better than on previous sony's so hopefully wont pack up after 6 months because of dust.
