Summary: Owned this phone before the slide ribbon cable shorted out. it did take a couple years before that happened though. Its a great camera phone that has access to the internet via WIFI (when unlocked) without having to pay a data charge.
Summary: I bought this because I had one before (the only reason I replaced it was because it never got over me dropping it in a river by accident - my bad). I replaced it with a HTC Desire and wished I hadn't. I'm a keen amateur photographer, and the camera in the C905 is fabulous for indoor and outdoor work; the Desire let me down horribly on a once-in-a-lifetime occasion that I know the C905 would have performed impeccably in.

Excerpt: I purchased this phone not long after the phone was released. I remember telling my husband about it and I needed a new cell phone anyway. I am one of those moms who likes to take pictures of my kids doing everything but I never had my camera. I ALWAYS carry my cellphone though. When Sony Ericsson released this phone with an 8 MP camera then I knew that I would be able to say that I always had my camera because I always carried my phone. It takes great pictures and...
Excerpt: The ony other thing I look for in a phone besides good reception and T9 texting is the phone's camera quality. Besides the talking and texting I do on my phone, I use my phone to take a lot of pictures. So when I found out that there was a phone with 8.1 megapixels, and it was a part of AT&T, which means I can get it cheaper with a contract. I got the phone for $50 with a 2-year contract, rather cheap considering the phone alone was worth over $350 during that time.
Summary: I bought the telephone for my wife. We only Sony Ericsson telephones use in the family. It is possible to prepare good pictures with the 8 mega pixel cameras. Is there darkness? No problem, since there is xenon flash. The 3 inches of display has a beautiful picture. Inbuilt GPS slow and vague. Google Maps does not navigate, our position shows it only. His usage entails much data traffic. Polstar PBT-648 bluetooth GPS receiver and GPSmid program we use it.
