Excerpt: Until recently this was the phone i was using. Now i know when you compare this to the phones out there today - it might look like it doesnt have much to offer - no camera, no colour screen and all that. But this really was a great little phone, and still is - especially for people who dont use mobiles much and keep them just for emergencies - like my mum:) It can do everything the infrequent users need - make your phone calls, send your text messages and the like.
Excerpt: This is a very sweet, small mobile phone, that looks a bit different. Many of the functions are dealt with by a dial on the side of the phone - I like this particular feature, although some of my friends have not been able to get to grips with it, so it is worth going to have a play with a display one first, to see if it will suit you. Ringtones are pretty funky, and you can get interesting sounds for messages too.
Excerpt: A year and a half ago i would have strongly recommended this phone to you all. however, now, with the rapid advances in technology, this phone has become out dated and its design is certainly not to praise. it is bulky and has a rigid shape, with an annnoying scroll feature that is the only way of going through the menu. the phone is monocolour, not tri-band, and certainly not worth the money that it is being sold for.
Pros: Can't think of any in particular, except the buttons are easy to use
Excerpt: This is a cheap little phone that offers a realistic alternative to the famous Nokia phones, it's small, lightweight and slim, has a nice colour scheme and is childishly easy to use. The jotter wheel and rolling menus have a nice feel to them and the graphics are fairly imaginative. You get a choice of a couple of different wallpapers which are very average looking, but hey, you can attach picture and sound files to txt messages so the sky's the limit really.
Excerpt: This phone has all the makings of a modern, feature rich phone, with just one major downside...You cannot change the cover. This is surprising given that just about every other phone manufacturer puts this feature on their phones. This aside however, the phone offers some great features, and something I especially like is the polyphonic ring tones, which have a much better sound than standard ring tones.
Excerpt: Well ay least it can't download the dodgy tunes, thats a good start! NO, but really, I bought this phone about a year ago, after my previous Sony phone was stolen, and it is a great thing to have. The screen is big and clear, and it looks stylish and smart. The speakerphone feature I found was very useful when there have been a group of people wanting to speak to someone all at the same time - you know how it is!
Pros: can record own ringtone, WAP, lots fo room for numbers
Cons: seems to freeze occasionally, not very loud ringtones
Excerpt: THe CMD-J70 is an ample phone. It's got all of your standard features - address book, messaging, WAP, Scheduler, polyphonic ring tones. All in all it is a pretty average phone, but as most people out there just want a phone that 'does the basics' - a phone and text, this is a good buy in general. It is a cheap phone, around £60 on pay as you go, and free if you sign up for a contract. It's light and small, can fit in your shirt pocket, and is about 10cm tall by 4cm wide.
Excerpt: I have had one of these phones for more than a year now. It has a great look to it and is very light. The only criticism for its looks is the big aerial on the top and the fact that it looks like it could probably fall apart! It however is very robustly built and works well in a unique way because of the “jog dial” on the side.
Pros: Small, very light, clear large screen, polyphonic ringtones
