Good useable phone

  • Excerpt: This phone is a few years old now, but they pop up on Ebay second hand very frequently for good prices. The screen is black and white and a nice size, although the bigger screen from the previous model J5 / J6 would have been nicer. All menus are accessed via the scroll wheel at the side.

  • Excerpt: Having always had Nokia's I was getting a bit fed up, you go anywhere and 9 out of 10 people seem to have your phone. As I was pregnant and my current phone was being temperamental I decided to purchase a new one, something different this time.

  • Excerpt: I have been reading all the 11 reviews and most of them have bragged about the same points. Low ringers, A soft vibrator. One of them even mentioned abt the Jog dial being on the wrong side !! Who is he ? A mobile fone manufacturer ?

  • Excerpt: I hope this is only happening to me, I got the j70 of my sister as a present. At first it was great, until I put it on charge and the battery fell out, and it was still on. The next day I put, message memory to phone. It said my sim could hold 250 messages and my phone could hold 8.

  • Excerpt: This phone looks quite good and trendy but there is an ugly face to this product too. there is a software problem with the phone because it hangs too often or shuts down automatically. so you have to remove the batteries and replace them again.

Not worth the brand name

  • Excerpt: When I first bought my CMD J70 a year ago, was I excited. It stood out among the other phones which used to play the same monotonic 'Saare jahan se accha' or 'Jingle bells' ring tones over and over. The polyphonic sounds in this phone were really different - but that's about it.

  • Excerpt: Hi all My first review and I hope its not a tirade against Sony CMD J70. I bought this set on a whim about 4 months ago putting my trusted Nokia 3310 (bad battery back up) away into the cupboard. First impression, stylish, sleek and trendy with a jog dial.
