A Good Solid Camera Phone

daforce, Phone Scoop
23 May 2005
  • Excerpt: The first day I bought this phone, I was captured by its very good screen and the 1 mega-pixel camera. It displays and prints pictures like a normal 2 mega-pixel camera. Also, the MP3 function is like an added bonus to this phone. But you can't complain against its 6meg card because YOU HAVE TO BUY IT YOURSELF!!! However, the battery life is short compared to other similar phones like the Nokia 7610.

Allmost the best cameraphone ive ever seen. IRL

  • Excerpt: The first thing i did when i turned it on was to try the camera. I saw what i expected, good pictures in high quality. That the software in this phone should be a problem i don't understand. cause i think it looks nice. Then i downloaded a game called worms, very fun actually. And to the camera, it is a 1.0 mega-pixel ccd camera. it takes pictures up to 858*1144 pixels. And on the highest size you can't zoom. And a big minus is that it takes long time to save the pics.

The Ultimate "Camera" phone

JT Money, Phone Scoop
5 May 2005
  • Excerpt: I guess this IS the camera phone if u want a good camera with it, but i ask u, if u want a good camera, why don't u just buy a good camera camera. At the end of the day, this is a phone and not a camera as camera is purely an "feature" of the phone. The overall features of the phone is great, it's great on the bus when ur bored and it has everything u need in a phone. It's a slight big for size.

Great Hardware Lost

zsolt, Phone Scoop
5 May 2005
  • Excerpt: I am disappointed. The Bluetooth feature is a lie. It can not be used as a modem and can not interface with a PC only via IR in a very limited way. The software is primitive and restrictive. No access to the SD card via IR (forget Bluetooth). It is a schizophrenic device with a split personality. It is a Flashlight-MP3-Phone-Camera-Alarm Clock combo with minimal integration.

A sharp point on the gx30

floater, Ciao
10 May 2007
  • Excerpt: "Ive had this phone 6 months and decided to get rid of it recently so I thought a review of it would be on the cards. I remember the GX10i (david beckham phone)was impressive when I received that with new innovations and radical styling. This phone was supposed to take these features to another level but in my opinion the improvements are minimal compared to the competition. The signal is good and the phone is easy to use. The camera was well ahead ...

Best Phone I Have Ever Had!

DaleBoy20..., Ciao
20 May 2006
  • Excerpt: "I've had this phone just over a year now, and despite it being dropped and banged, still works brilliantly. The phone features a 1.0 megapixel camera which in my opinion is just as good, if not better then the latest phones offering 2.0 megapixel cameras. The phone is straightforward to use, has a large 260k colour QVGA CGS LCD screen and space for a 512MB Removable SD Memory Card for storing videos, music and pictures. At first i found it was ...

It's such a shame!!

  • Excerpt: "I've wanted this phone for ages and finally got it for Christmas, I was sooo please with the quality of the phone, the camera is amazing, it's easy to use, it looks good, however compared to my last phone (the Siemens MC60) the reception strength is terrible!! The difference can be a couple of inches, at work I used to have my old phone on my PC and get a great reception, but with the GX30 I've had to move it 6 inches to the left just to get a decent ...

Why are there so few flip phones?

robachami..., Ciao
28 January 2005
  • Excerpt: "...the same phone was the sharp GX10, but looks a bit sleeker. So. Upgrade time. I wanted something similar to the panasonic, but with more games and features, and an even better camera if possible. And it had to have a flip front. Utterly vital to me that phones have a flip front, because I don't like locking keys. A scan of the wall showed me that the only competitor was the sharp gx30 - no other flip front phone had enough features, and the ...
