Not bad, not good

Chris B, Phone Arena
12 April 2007
  • Excerpt: I used this phone for a little over a year and it was worn out. I have to admit I really use a phone but the battery wore out after a few months and I bought a oversized long life battery and it took me for about another 7 months.

sanyo phones = flimsy charging ports

OliviaC15163, Phone Scoop
20 February 2007
  • Excerpt: The phone itself works fine BUT the charging ports in these Sanyo phones is cheap and flimsy! I have had 4 Sanyo phones, all with the same basic design: PM-8200 (2 of these) SCP-3100 vi-2300 Every single one of these phones ended up with a bad charging port.

Could be used for a childs toy

dragontudes, Phone Scoop
24 January 2007
  • Excerpt: The best thing I can say about this phone is, if you took the battery out, it could make a cute kids toy. The sound quality is so fuzzy you can barely understand the person calling. This phone heats up enough to be almost painful on the ear after a 20 minute (sometimes less) conversation.

  • Excerpt: This phone is great at what it should be great at: using it as a phone. I gave up a camera phone for this phone, and was thrilled that I did. Pros -Durable -LONG battery life -It's actually quite cute -Good clear call, though it's alittle quiet Cons -Can't think of one, except that it is kinda nice...

Stay AWAY!

dealwithit, Phone Scoop
29 September 2006
  • Excerpt: Pros: Easy to use/navigate Cons: It dropped calls from the beginning. I should have taken it back right away, but didn't. It isn't durable, but I also have 3 kids ages 4 & under. It totally didn't hold up to our minimal use. Sound/speaker quality is terrible. Difficult to hear caller!
