Excerpt: My current and everyday phone is the Sanyo Katana from Sprint, which is one of the basic phones offered by Sprint to their customers. It has the required features such as speakerphone, bluetooth, camera, and the usual. I received this phone used when my other purchase from Sprint was a bust. This phone was used previously for about a year before I began using it as a replacement. It has been a wonderful and easy phone to use and operate.
Excerpt: I like the phone overall, but I'm broke that's the only reason I applied for the free phone, so that if I was out somewhere and needed to contact someone I could. It is perfectly suited to what I got it for, but it has a useless camera that won't transfer via usb, this is so qlink can charge you if you want to get your pics off of it! No other excuse I can think of.
Pros: I'm broke and it's free.
Cons: It's useless to me except as a very very basic mobile phone., No usb synch... NONE!!!
Excerpt: I got the pink Sanyo Katana over a year ago and have been completely satisfied with it. It is easy to use, not necessary to read the entire manual to do all the basic functions. Basic texting is what this is good for...I'm not big on texting via my phone so this is a plus for me. It's slim enough to fit into a little pocket on the front of my clutch purse or into a back pocket.
Excerpt: I love my Sprint Nextel- Katana Phone phone. It's just the right size & weight. And the Metalic blue color is awesome. I don't know much about phones so I don't know what to say about it except that I have had it for 20 mos with no problems at all. Would buy this same phone again if something happened to this one. Peace.
Excerpt: This phone is just "alright". If I had my choice I would go back to using an older phone. I drop calls frequently and can never seem to get the text message alert to turn off once the message has been viewed. The battery life is not so great either. The photo quality is decent but could be better.

Excerpt: After using multiple cell phones with a lot of dissatisfaction I have finally found one phone that i am significantly satisfied with. So far after three months I do not have any complaints and this phone has worked itself back into my life like a regular part of my body and daily action. I Overall it meets all of my immediate needs and I am able to manage my daily activities. It has multiple options that are very comfortable.
Excerpt: I was a religious nokia user until I found the Katana. I thought it would be difficult to master but I have found that it is very easy to use and it looks so cute. I can't wait until I am able to get a Katana DLX.
Excerpt: I've been mostly pleased with my Katana. Love the pink color. It is internet capable but navigating sites is a nightmare on the tiny screen. The preprogrammed ringtones are loud enough but every ringtone I have downloaded plays very softly. I have trouble receiving calls when I'm roaming but I think this is probably more a service issue than a phone issue. I have noticed that as my phone gets older, it becomes very hot during long calls.
