Very attractive phone, a little outdated functions
3 October 2010
Summary: pro: Very good looking phone, easy to use, has camera, bluetooth, web access. cons: camera is less than 1 megapixel, limited functions compared with current cellphones. Overall: Nice basic cellphone, good signal, easy to use, decent battery life, basic photos, web access works well with sprint 3G.
Summary: I love this phone its really fun and cute and easy to use. Im really glad I was able to replace my phone obtaining the same model...... Great Phone some glitches when it doesnt turn off correctly, but no major issues ...... i love it!
Summary: I like this particular model for its' simplicity. If you have a DATA plan with sprint, this model DOES support Sprint Telenav GPS software which can be downloaded from sprint's online store free of charge. Also this device can handle Sprint Mobile E-mail and Opera 4.1 Turbo. Basically I can surf the internet just as if I had a computer with Opera installed. It is amazing that this lower class device can do a lot of the same functions as the expensive ones. All in all...
Summary: I bought this phone because i was sick of all these new upgraded phones! Everything was so much more complex with data plans and touch screens! I wanted to DOWNGRADE to something basic. This was the perfect phone fort that! It is ideal to text on, no problem there! The battery life lasts well over 3 days too!
Summary: Like the phone because it is: Rugged, battery lasts forever and nice picture, features. Recommend to anyone! Decided to buy for all the features listed above- and the good price (this was a replacement phone for same model that was damaged in a football game)
Summary: I had the original Katana and decided to upgrade to the Katana Eclipse. I love the phone for the most part but I have had some issues with it. The main screens freezes sometimes so when I flip it open the screen is white, and sometimes when I press the side keys to see view the time on the sub screen it does not illuminate.
Excerpt: I ordered this phone from the Sprint website January 2nd. There was a web only free with instant rebate special for the X so I ordered it in black. I received the phone Monday night via UPS. I had changed my mind about the color and wanted the pink but decided to play around with the phone for a while to make sure that I was going to keep this model.
Summary: I like that the phone is just the right size, and is very light. It has great features, like the illumination effects and the camcorder. The only drawback is I cannot for the life of me find ANY way to put custom ringtones on it. I have a ton of mp3s on my MicroSD card, but it doesnt recognize any of them as a ringtone format. I've also tried .qcp and .aac files, all to no avail.
Excerpt: Well I received the Katana Eclipse the other day and have been pleased but not excited. First of all the phone feels nice and light in the hand. The material of the phone unfortunately feel cheap like weak plastic. The mirrored finish on the outside looks good but can get smudged quite easily. Call quality is superb and reception is so and so, not great but not bad. The camera is pretty sucktastic and a bit grainy. Phone is very responsive and with texts.
