Sanyo Katana DLX is a great phone for those looking for basics

Excerpt: I purchased my Sanyo Katana DLX last November - downgrading from a Treo 650. While I do miss the full keyboard in the few instances where I'm texting messages, downgrading my phone was an excellent decision (and a money saver!), as I found that I rarely find a NEED for having instant web access on my mobile, and frankly, when I did have web access, it was fairly slow.
Excerpt: Everybody Knows or should know that Sanyo makes the best cellphones for sprint. They have superior durability, battery life, and call quality. This being said The KATANA DLX is the king for Sanyo right now. This is a feature rich phone for the Non business person that is guaranteed to please. The only draw back to this phone is not one when compared to other phones.
Excerpt: I love aevery Sanyo phone that I have had. I am a single mother and I dont have much money but I did save up just so that I could by this phone. I lost my eye sight when my other phone stoped working and it took me a few months after surgery to save up to buy this phone. The reason that I like sanyo is because I am hard on my phones and my last phone got beat up and still worked.
Excerpt: The Sanyo Katana DLX has been a great phone. I have used it for one year now. The style is a flip phone. There is a small outer screen and a main inner screen. The color/graphics are pleasing, bright and sharp. There are functions included such as tv, on demand-weather, movies, sports, stocks, etc. , calendar, stopwatch, camera, calculator, address book, pretty much the basics of today's phones. You can insert a mini sd card to hold more pictures, music, or video.
Summary: Simply put, this is overall my favorite flip phone. It is very simple but has all the features needed to get the job done smoothly and efficiently. Camera is adequate and the screen is perfect size. It has an excellent design and is a great size.
Summary: Awesome Phone, easy to use..Would recommend to anyone who would like an easy phone to use. Great for kids, or someone who is not interested in the touch screen phones. Big buttons and a Big screen.
Summary: This is going to be my third Sanyo Katana 6600. The first one was destroyed by my dog and the second the lens broke for the camera - but otherwise, this phone is extremely durable and dependable. I've tried newer phones when i got my yearly rebate and have returned them (twice) and always went back to this phone. it's the best!
Summary: Purchased the Sanyo Katana on e-bay to replace the phone which fell into the swimming pool. The phone is very durable, keypad has withstood thousands of text messages and the battery will last 2 to 3 days. Great little phone for the price.
