Summary: I prefer full qwerty so texting was slow. The sound was not great. But other than that it was amazing.. This phone like other phones is not river resistant. Made the mistake of thinking i could kayak with my phone without getting wet..
Summary: Everything seem to be working good. I gave it to my daughter she seems to like it. It seems to pick up good take good pictures and does everything it said it would do. It isn't the best looking phone, but I didn't pay a lot for it either.
Summary: I had previously owned the Samsung Trance, so when I was looking for a feature phone, I knew this was what I wanted, since I really enjoy my music. It's easy to use (since you can get the user manual on line), looks nice(if you don't mind fingerprints) and has great sound (for a "dumb phone"). It even has a micro-sd slot so you can keep even more music on it.
Summary: I was really happy to finally find a small phone that DID NOT have a QWERTY keyboard. I don't like the QWERTY but I like small phones of this style. It was hard to find, but I'm excited that I did find it.
Excerpt: I have a history of being very hard on phones. In fact, I went through 4 phones in about 2 weeks. However, I have had this phone for almost a YEAR now and have no major problems with it. I have dropped it several times while biking or running and it always starts back up right when the battery is put back in. I love that the buttons cannot be pushed when the phone is closed and that the touchscreen locks when the slider is shut.
Excerpt: I've had this phone for almost a year, and I haven't had too many complaints. I like that it's light-weight and easily portable. It's not bulky or mis-shaped that it won't fit in my pants pocket or purse. Some of the phone is touch which makes it easier to navigate. What I don't like about the phone is that it doesn't have video capability. If I would have known that before I order it, it probably would have prevented me from choosing it.
The Trance is an effective product for its purpose

Excerpt: Great Phone, that does what it says it will. It has good programs which allow quick access to your music on the go and friendly enough for those less savvy. The lack of memory is a bit problematic; it used to have 2 gigs in the previews model (juke), and to downgrade to 1 gig is just a mistake. Still with micro cards available for so little the problems is neglect-able.
Everything's fine except the touch screen can be slow.

Excerpt: Everything is likable about this phone except three things: The CNET site has a few more helpful points and videos on this phone. Unfortunately, it looks like "ViewPoints" doesn't allow Copy/ Paste from other sites so you would have to check out those reviews separately. The phone has a modern look. Mine is a nice lacquer red.

Excerpt: I purchased my Samsung Trance last year. I was wary of the Samsung brand, considering I had always used the LG phones. However, I am very pleased with it. I like the touch screen options it provides. It is easy to manuever, text, and take pics with. I like the thin design of it. It was definitely worth the money.
