Summary: I bought this phone to replace a current phone taht is no longer with VERIZPN as a selection in the stores, or online. I haven't activated the phone yet, but it seems like it will be okay., It is thinner than the SCH u620, My complaint with this phone (before using it) is that it did not come with an owners' manual)
Summary: Cons: I have had this phone for about a month and have had alot of problems with it. The touch screen buttons you have to push hard and alot of the times don't work the 1st time you use them. It resets to main screen when I'm texting. The people I talk to say they can't hear me hardly at all. Pros: The screen has a great picture and the camera works really good for being a cheap phone. The sound from the MP3 is great and plays well.
Summary: I have had this phone for a few weeks now. It's a decent phone and works well. It is to plain for me. It doesn't even take video. The camera works well but reacts slow. All of the features on the phone work well besides that. The touch sensitive keys respond well although need tapped a couple times. All in all this is a good phone if you don't want anything special. I would say the biggest downfall is not being able to take video.
Excerpt: After using the Samsung Trance for a few days, i thought it was a good phone. The touch pad took a while to get used to. The battery wasnt the best though and i had to charge it abour 2 times a day. I also loved that it had a 3.5mm headset jack. Also it was a great music phone.
Pros: +Cool and unique design, +Pretty good screen size, +Easy to use, +3.5mm headset jack, +Great music phone, +Thin, +Pretty good camera, +Many camera options, +Pretty good sliding action
Cons: -880 mAh Hour battery thst was included wasnt the best., -Lack of video support, -Touch pad wasnt always responsive, -Haptic feedback for the touchpad was annoying, -Screen wasnt always easy to see in light sun, -Lack of 3G support, -Sometimes it was hard to open slider, -Chrome accents chipped easily
Excerpt: PROS: Decent sound. Cool looking handset with gee-whiz sliding design. CONS: Miserable touch screen design; it essentially is TOO sensitive. Cheap feeling; the sliding mechanism doesn't feel solid at all, neither does the bottom half of the phone. SIGNAL/SOUND: Poor signal in my area, but that's just my area. Sound is decent. OVERALL: A cheap handset designed for the 12-year-old girls out there. Don't bother; it's bottom of the barrel.
Summary: I decided to buy this phone because i hate flip phones and this one is a slider. The reasons i would not buy this phone again: does not record video. the video messages it recieves are exremely choppy, and the sound does not go along with the video. i text without looking at the phone, but with this phone it is hard to text when you are looking at it, because unlike my last samsung slider, this phone has the end call key right above the 3 (DEF) key.
